McKenna Farms is also in need of some volunteers to help out in the barn. 14 to handle the horses and if responsible a little younger (like 13) to clean stalls. Call McKenna for volunteer orientation times if he is interested.
Good for him wanting to volunteer his time to help out the animals of Paulding County!

Are you still taking volunteers and where are you located? My daughter Hannah is going to be 14 July 12th and is very experianced with horses. She has horses of her own and has been riding since she was very little. I think she would enjoy doing something like this.Thanks.

Just watching RaceDay showing a press conference this week with Kyle Busch. YES, I AM A DALE, JR FAN! But, even if I wasn't, I would not like that little punk. I thought what he did with busting the guitar TROPHY for winning a race was very disrespectful. Every other driver on the track would have LOVED to have that TROPHY in their home in one piece. (And, yes, I know his excuse for doing it was to give the crew a "piece" of it and yes, I know he got permission from NASCAR and GIBSON AFTER he did it and yes, I know he had already ordered two more guitars specially painted by Sam Bass) He just said on TV, "some people liked it and thought it was cool and some people didn't. Those who didn't are the ones with 88 tattooed on their arm, or maybe still an 8" and laughed. I have news for the little punk, I do NOT have a tattoo of Junior's number or anything else. He is so degrading of Jr Nation and anyone who happens to have any tattoo. He is always been and continues to be DISRESPECTFUL!!!!!! Just sayin'.

i haven't seen Busch open a car of beer in Victory lane and drink it like Jr. did. Jr. is such a great role model!!!!

One other little point to MrsH's article. While they were sitting around collecting their fat checks they WEREN't collect unemployment benifts. Just something to think about.

Maybe in time Why do people hate winners and always pull for the loser. People are saying the same things about Kyle Busch that they said about Jeff Gordon when he Started. Nobody can drive a car, truck, or anything for that matter better than him. He knows how to race and tell the crew chief what is wrong with the car. I don't like him either as a person but he is the best driver out there.

I disagree with you about who is to blame MCMM. I do blame the government and most of all the unions. I believe that Obama just signed something that shortens the time table on some of those cafe standards too. You are right about them they are very much to blame for this! This will affect the steel industry, the tire industry, the building industry (people won't have money to buy homes), and anything bought at the malls because people can't shop! It is a mess!
I think you are right about GMs bankruptcy affecting alot of people. Especially all the mechanics that had to keep on working working on them. Do some research. So me your researched numbers. And by the way your right, the us do extend outside Georgias borders as it also extends outside the city of Detroit also.

Honda employees more people in west georgia than ford and chevy combined! If GM would have built their cars to last and stayed up with the times they wouldn't be in such a mess. They name on the car means nothing really, honda and toyota employee as many americans as ford and gm do.

I know I know stupid on my part, it was less than a mile from my house, all 3 kids were screaming it was srpring break I was ready to be home.
that is my excuse, plus I was going around someones rear ead that was stuck out in the road, and I speed up going around them as they were turning, there was a person in front of me that did the same so I think he Radared that person and then they turned and he got me, I never saw the popo until I was about 1 mile up the road and he was coming my direction.
I am glad my kids don't play outside less than a mile from your house.(lol)

Okay so by now many of you know about the drug dogs in McClure middle school yesterday, they found drugs in a 6th GRADERS locker! I hope you are as outraged as I am! The last time something major happened at the school we got a note sent home but the News crew was on site. Guess this is so common these days it doesn't make the news. Still we should get a note sent home I would think explaining what happened does anyone agree here?
For all you parents out there, I want to know what you would do if your 9th grader told you about a kid on the bus who smokes pot every morning. Says his mom doesn't care as long as he only does it on the weekends so he doesn't get caught. Turns out the kid is doing more than smoking pot, he is popping pills also in the morning and all through the day! I have his name and I guess he lives in our neighborhood Senators Ridge. Would you do nothing, call the school, call the school and his parents? Sounds like this kid is hallucinating too as he speaks about wild animals flying over the bus and landing on them. My friend in Woodstock has a son who has already lost 4 friends who never reached their 19 birthdays from Oxycotin overdoses. I am not sure what the pills are that this kids is taking but it wouldn't surprise me if it was that.

A bus driver turned is 4 kids(7th graders) to spms administration for snorting oxcoting through dollar bills on her bus. They were hard on them gave them a whole 3 days in school suspension(lol). Bus driver couldn't believe the police didn't even get involved. Said the kids laughed at Mr. Williams(the asst. Principal) saying he wouldn't do nothing. The bus driver felt like she wasted her time and want even let her own kids ride her bus. They continue to dip and exchange cigerattes daily with nothing done. I don't know what i would do if i was her. I think she should have just called the police.

Give him a few more years. He is 34. When is people going to learn he is the most overrated driver there ever has been with only 18 career victories. I expected him to finish his career with maybe 25 wins if he is lucky.

I guess why I am against shriners collecting money in the middle of the road is because you don,t know if they are real shriners or not. You just have to trust that they are. One of my ex-friends bought a shriners hat off ebay and made lots of money with it, that is why I don't give anymore.

The Shriners don't bother me a bit, and if I have any change, I will always give it to them when I see them out collecting.
I think that's a whole lot different than having your children standing in traffic selling donuts.

Does this new law include the shriners that stand at the off ramp in villa rica. I go through 2 different locations on the way home with shriners standing in the MIDDLE of the road. Don't see know difference between this and a parent standing on the SIDE if the road trying to help their kids.The paulding Marshall is putting the brakes on the people selling at the corner of E. paulding and 92. Apparently ther is a state law against selling stuff to moving cars. Hate it for the donut people.teacherman

I have for sale a 125 gallon poly plastic water storage tank. I bought it to tank on trips with my camper and no longer need it. It has had fresh water only in it, never no chemicals of any kind. I am asking $75.
