  1. LSU's new quarterback will stumble, big time, in a big game. As long as there is a Tiger on the field, everyone else has a shot. Hear that Mississippi State!

Which brings us to the Auburn Tigers. Solid team. Will win a big one or two, but, can't get by Arkansas in Fayetteville. As long as there is a Tiger on the field......

Alabama: Defense sucks. They'll get better as the year ages. However, early conference games could take them out of the picture quickly. Vandy, to kick off the conference in Nashville is a dangerous piece of work. Arkansas....Saban's first home conference game... will test a shaky run defense to the maximum. The Tide could be out by then

Florida is a conondrum. Hair today....gone tomorrow. Who knows what lurks in the heart of Tibo. Fear of sacks, maybe. And, they have to visit "The Old Ball Coach" in S. Carolina.

Arkansas: The off-field distractions were blown up by a voracious, liberal media that decinds on controversy like buzzards to road kill. Garbage in....Garbage out. Where are the methane police when you need them. All is well at Hogville. With an elimanation of special teams foul-ups and a little luck they could return to Atlanta. Might all depend on the game-after-Thanksgiving match-up with LSU @ Tigerland. As long as there is a Tiger on the field......

Tennessee could be the dark horse...but, they'd have to change from orange to purple striping. Purple goes better with white anyway. But then, they might be confused with the LSU Tigers and as everyone now knows...as long as there is a Tiger on the field......

Kentucky will win a few they shouldn't and loose a few they shouldn't. They'd be scary if they could limit SEC opponents to less that 30.

Mississippi State and Ol' Miss: In Mississippi, "The Grove" at Oxford will continue to be a big party for SEC visitors. You can miss Starkville and be happy about it. Each may win a few, but, they'll be few and far between.

South Carolina is a game cock. Pointing at everyone while not really knowing what to do when they get there. A scary bunch that is getting better each year. Just not this year. Oh, Spurrier will have them close in most every game. They will win more in the SEC than they loose. But, it won't be enough.

Vanderbilt will come ever so close again. They beat Alabama to open the season and from that momentum they will challenge Kentucky for last place in the East. They'll also beat a top 20 eastern team to throw that race into unrest. Spoiler and perhaps a bowl game would make a Commodore something other than an old, outdated computer.

Georgia: Who knows? One may almost believe that both offense and defensive units are practicing "spying" over the hedges in Athens. You know "spying". Just peeking one's eyes over something to get a look. Everyone knows you are spying but, they can't see your whole face....the message the whole-face picture would convey. Just a guess. A Chesire grin. Cat like. Laying in wait. Ready for everything except for Uga to spy them and take a plug outta their arse. Stay healty and they got a real shot.

  2. If I were a parent of one of those kids, I'd want to know how it's possible for a kid to make a passing grade all year, yet not have mastered the skills necessary to pass the test?

There must be material on the test that is not covered in the curriculum and if that's the case, parents should vehemently object

You've pinpointed the problem. There is "material" in the test. Go Figure.
