My son was going to buy it, but the work was going to cost more than he could afford to do. I have eat at the bus station all my life and will try it out when the new owner opens back up. I wish her all the luck in the world and wish Dewey a well deserved happy retirement!

I agree with you 100% tbird. I have lived in this couny all of my life and I get so tired of people moving into our county and complaining that we are not up to standards with the one they moved from. If they were so happy with the way things are done in that county, then why would they want to move into to ours??? I have known Gary for a long time and I know that he is the type of person that will be there for you when every one else is gone. I think that with the help of our wonderful and loyal sheriff now (Bruce Harris) and all the wonderful and loyal employees of the sheriff's department, Gary will do a great job just like I personally think sheriff Bruce Harris has done.

My prayers are with you both, Please believe me, I know how hard it is because it has been almost nine years since Tiffany left and I still have a hard time daily, but with the Grace of the Good Lord above we will make it. You will both be in my thoughts and prayers.

There was a mentally challanged man that worked for Almain Cooper's grocery store and they delivered groceries around down town Dallas and as he was going past the jail ( when it was down town) a female inmate hollowed out and ask him if he worked for Almain Coopers and he said yes and she ask him if he would tell Almain to send her some personal item that she needed (that time of the month) and he replied Just Shut Up and eat what they give you!!!

I have lived in Good Ole Paulding County all my life,(48 years) I was raised in the burnt hickory community where my daddy and all of his family still live. When I married I move to the Yorkville community where I still live with my hubby who has also lived here all his life. (We live in his grandparents home place and I guess we will be here until the airport runs us off.

I had the pleasure of knowing Scotty when he was in school with my daughter Tiffany, who has also gone to be with the Lord. Please know that you are both in my thoughts & prayers as it has been almost 8 years for me ( October 25, 1999) and I still miss her so much, you never really get over it, you learn to accept the different live that you have been given. I once took care of a lady and when I got to her house on a given day she was very sad and I ask her why was she so sad and she replied, 52 years ago today I lost my little girl and she told me that the hurt was just as real that day as 52 years ago, so when people will tell me it will get better, I will tell them that lady was still grieving after 52 years and it is only with the help of the Good Lord above that I survive from day to day without my baby girl. Scotty was such a sweet boy and I know that Tiffany was happy as she was there to help welcome one of her friends home. I know that one sweet day we will get to see them again and I can hardly wait, again please know that you are both in my thoughts and prayers. If you every need me to help in anyway as I am a little further down the road of grieving, I am only a phone call away.
