  1. Try Domino's or Papa John's. My Son and my Husband both worked for them and made good money on tips. They both worked part time. It has been a few years since my Son did it and my Husband worked at Domino's before we were married, so that has been at least 13 years ago. You are more likely to get part time work there. Hope that helps. :)

I worked for Pizza Hut for 5 years. That is my last idea for a job. But thanks for your input.

    Hello my fellow Kroger-ite!!

    What store you at?

    Find me at 456!

Store 498 at the corner of Macland and Powder Springs Rd.

  2. I work for Kroger overnight full-time. I'm moving soon and I need extra money to pay the bills. So, I'm looking for a second job. Anyone that knows who is hiring, please let me know. I honestly don't care what type of job it is. Looking for either first or second shift. PM or e-mail me. TimThompson2005@comcast.net

  3. My hubby used to take me there to see lights when we were still dating (several years ago). We would go see the Hardy lights, the ones they used to have on the Bobo end of Mt Tabor, then the ones in your area. Are you back in the culdesac?

Nah Cooper Dr is a dead-end road, but you can see the lights from the Mt Tabor Church Rd and Bobo Rd four-way stop. Our neighbor across the street will have hers on as well.

  4. If you would like to bring your children to see Christmas for free. Drive by my home. If you're at McDonald's in Dallas, take a right onto Macland Rd. Go to the four-way stop sign @ Bobo Rd and take a left. Go through the next stop sign. Travel about 500 feet and take a right onto Donna Ln. Then you will see the lights on Cooper Dr to the right. :D

  5. I found this great stress model in one of my school books:

Stress begins with a life situation that knocks you off balance. It could be positive, negative, mild, or strong, but when it happens, you need to adapt. Most people adapt to stress in stages. The first stage in the stress process is your perception of the event. For example, if you fail a test, you could percieve it to be very serious (if it's critical to your grade) or not so serious (if you've done well on the 5 other tests given in the class). A death in the family may be percieved as a devstating loss or the end of a long, happy, and productive life. You will each have your own way of looking at stressful situations. The next stage in the stress process is your emotional reaction to the event. Fear, anger, insecurity, or feelings of being overwhelmed, frustrated, or helpless are possible is the emotional reactions to an event. A third stage in the process is the physiological reaction to stress. Stress can cause your respiratory rate, heart rate, and blood pressure to increase, and can cause stomach aches, decreases in your immune system, and problems digesting food. The final stage in the stress process includes the consequences. Chronic stress can result in real illnesses and other problems, such as poor performance in school, strained family relationships, or fights with friends.

  6. Has it really been that long since we've seen you. But I guess you've heard that I don't work at Pizza Hut anymore. I know it will be after she graduates, so maybe next year or sometime soon. Good to hear from you Shawna! Thanks everyone, we are very excited. I will try and get a picture of the ring up so you can see.
