Ration gas? No thanks, also it won't do anything except effect the time you wait at the pump. Demand is going to go down and there is no shortage of supply so it will simply cause long lines. As for boycotting ME based companys - sounds good in theory but it will end up driving up the cost at the other stations. There is a Snopes.com report all about it.

WHERE TO BUY YOUR USA-GAS, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW. READ ON--
Gas rationing in the 80's worked even though we grumbled about it.
It might even be good for us!
The Saudis are boycotting American goods.
We should return the favor.
An interesting thought is to boycott their GAS.
Every time you fill up the car, you can avoid putting more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia Just buy from gas companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis.
Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill-up the tank, I am sending my money to people who are trying to kill me, my family, and my friends.
I thought it might be interesting for you to know which oil companies are the best to buy gas from and which major companies import Middle Eastern oil.
These companies import Middle Eastern oil:
Shell.......................... 205,742,000 barrels
Chevron/Texaco..........144,332,000 barrels
Exxon /Mobil..............130,082,000 barrels
Marathon/Speedway..117,740,000 barrels
Amoco...........................62,231,000 barrels
Citgo Gas comes from South America, from a Dictator who hates Americans.
Do the math at $30/barrel, these imports amount to over $18 BILLION! (Oil is now $90-$95 a barrel)
Here are some large companies that
DO NOT import Middle Eastern oil:
Sunoco............... 0 barrels
Conoco................ 0 barrels
Sinclair................ 0 barrels
BP/Phillips........... 0 barrels
Hess.................... 0 barrels
ARC0. ................... 0 barrels
Also: Pilot, Flying J, Love's, RaceTrac, Valero
All of this information is available from the Department of Energy
and each is required to state where they get their oil and how much
they are importing.
But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of gas buyers. It's really simple to do.
Now, don't wimp out at this point.... keep reading and I'll
explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!!
I'm sending this note to about thirty people.
If each of you send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300)... and
those 300 send it to a t least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000) .. and
so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth generation of people,
we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers !!!!!!!
If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten
friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted!
If it goes one level further, you gu essed it ..... THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE!!!
Again, all you have to do is send this to
10 people. How long would all that take?
If each of us sends this e-mail out to ten more people within one day, all 300 MILLION people could conceivably be contacted within the next eight days!

I have been wondering the same thing!
Gary is doing better he is able to nod his head to answer to acknowledge that he is aware of some one talking to him. If he is asked to raise is arm he will raise his arm. Right now the concern is to just get him well enough for him to be moved out of Grady. He got the staff infection and had a great set back.
Everyone please just keep praying for him and if you’re not feeling the holiday sprit just remember things could be a lot worse. Be thankful that you are able to be at home with your loved ones and that you have your health. Make every day a good day don’t be influenced by a commercialized Christmas. There is always a way to have a good Christmas. It might not be the same as other years but it is what you make it. Make it a Merry Christmas!!!

This is a long overdue thank you to everyone that donated and attended Gary Lee’s Benefit. It was a great success even though the weather wasn’t all that great for the bike and car show. We raised $2500.00 for Gary & Linda which she used to catch up the bills that had gotten behind since they hadn’t been able to work.
I will be posting some pictures in the next few days of the Car & Bike show. Thank You to everyone for your help from the Lee Family and all of us that worked to put on the benefit.

Anyone That would like to purshase tickets in advance just pm countrysunshine or my self and we will be glad to get them to you. We also still need can drinks and chips for the 19th. We need can drinks, paper plates, hamberger buns, hot dog buns & napkins or paper towles, and we need everyone to be there. It will be fun as well as helping our neighborand and his family
We will have a photographer taking pictures of riders on there bikes or with there car and printing it to 11x14 and all proceeds from that will go to Gary. The last Ride and Dixie Guns will be playing music, and we have the bike show, and want everyone who wants to show there car to be there too.

jimmsk is a pilot and flys out of Germany he is military intelligence. the reunion.com/gilwo is who heads the class rennions for a branch of the service that is retired. If you would like more info I can get you more. If you went that far to check it out it out I will go that far to get more info for you. These people are real and know what they they are talking about. I just think that gas prices are out of control and maybe we should think about who is getting our money and what they use it for. Money that we work so had for. Thanks
