  1. Looking for a job either using both or one of my skills as a Building Technician or in the field of Telecommunications as an Operations Technician. If you know of a company hiring - please let me know. See below for brief description of my past job duties.

    Building Engineer

    • Responsible for preventive maintenance on all HVAC, Fire alarm systems, DC power plants, and on-site generator sets. Certified by the EPA to work on HVAC equipment. This includes but is not limited to recovery, reclaim, and recycling of all refrigerants. If any problems arrive during the PM process, I am able to fix issues on the spot.

    Operations Manager

    • Responsible for 26 employees. Maintenance and installations of Unified Voice equipment, DS0, DS1, DS3, OC3 – OC 192 systems. This position called for me to over see all of the daily activities of the office. Schedule all of the installations and maintain the on call list for the South East field offices. I worked directly with the Network Operations Center to handle all escalations and insure each technician gets the job done, within a timely manner.

    • Installed, operated and supervised 20-35 soldiers in day-to-day operations and maintenance of communication equipment using T-Berds and Power Generators. Digital Group Multiplexing, Mobile Subscriber Equipment, Tactical Planning and Operations are just a few of the duties that I have performed while working in the military.

    Your help is well appreciated.

    Thank you,

  2. My mother got a puppy from the animal shelter about 2 years ago. One day after having it home the puppy had the systems of parvo and we took it to the vet. The vet said that it would be about $1000 dollars and a weeks worth of IVs. My mother and I could not even think about spending a $1000 dollars. So I started doing research about parvo home remedies. First you need to force fluids into the dog. He will get dehidrated real fast. Try with a child medicine suringe. Then head to the herb shop to look for colodial silver. This is a very good cure all. Give the dog a couple of drops several times a day. Then the next thing to do is get out the pepto bismal. Parvo eats the lining in the throat and stomach which causes the dog to throw up. Once you have given the dog pepto and colodial silver wait about a half an hour and try feed the dog some soft food. Keep giving the dog pepto and try feeding him until he keeps the food and water down. When the dog has keep food and water down without throwing it up you know that you are on your way to a cured dog. Just keep persistance and patience and the dog with come through.

Hope your dog comes through, this is very heart wrenching dog disease.

All in all my mothers dog is the best pet she has ever had and he is currently happy and running around the yard as healthy as can be.

  3. My neighbor had a bon fire last night. This morning he went to check the remnents and found some 1 week old bunnies under the pile of ashes. The bunnies are not burnt and still have their eyes closed and ears folded back. It looks as though the mother will not be returning.

Does anybody have a hint as to what we need to do. Our neighbor ran out to go get bunny formula, because they look hungry. Is there anybody we can call like a wild animal specialist who can pick them up and take care of them. Or does anybody have some knowledge that they can pass on to us in order to take care of them.

    Please, HELP!!!!!!!

  4. I am a resident who lives in the area and I am not pleased with the news of the PRD Zoning. Within that there are several topics that should be considered.

    1. The traffic on 61, Davis Mill Road, Hiram Way and Hiram Sudie.

    2. Would the price of the houses, being that it is close to a school and close to each house would that make the price of the house inexpensive so that the rif-raf would move in. Plus, it could lower the value of my property. Generally with the location of being close to a school and houses close to one another the price of the houses will be cheaper then most houses in this area. This is after doing some research into buying a new house.

I know I would not like to move into one of those houses, just because I would not like to look from my window directly into my neighbor's window.

Why doesn't this land get offered to the school, if it hasn't already. The High School sure looks like they need it for new construction to get rid of the unsitely trailers. My daughter is currently in middle school and soon will be attending this High School I would hate to think because of the over crowding that my daughter could not get the proper education. GA schools already have it tough with being substandard.

Another thing, I just drove by the property today on Davis Mill and it would be sad to see the beautiful land filled up by tightly filled subdivision. I moved out to Paulding county because of the restrictions they had of how close houses had to be to one another, due to septic tanks, unlike Cobb County. Our subdivision is very spaced out and the neighborhood is a great peaceful place, with great neighbors.
