Paulding Public Safety Appreciation, a 501c3, is having their second annual Run with the Badges Glow Run/Walk 5K. The race starts at 9pm on June 5th. All of our public safety agencies will be there participating, and all money raised goes to helping Paulding public safety personnel or public safety personnel who live in Paulding and work elsewhere in a time of need and through continueing education scholarships. Registration is only $25, and $15 for members of public safety. We also could use more volunteers, so if you don't want to participate, but want to help out, please let us know. T

Our 6th Annual Paulding Public Safety Appreciation Day Festival and Concert will be on Saturday, October 11th at Veterans Park (in front of Watson Gov't Complex). The festival will be from 3pm to 6pm, and the concert featuring the Dallas Martin Band will start at 7pm. We'll have fire, K9 and SWAT demonstrations, 2 helicopters, a County Dental kids area full of jumpees, a prescription drug take back, free vision screenings, a DUI obstacle course, and tons of emergency vehicles for everyone to see and touch. The Paulding Public Safety Appreciation Day, Inc has announced that they are hosting a Glow 5k on June 6th, 2014. This is the same charity who puts together the Public Safety Day in October.
