  1. What is a variance and how can I request it?
  2. We would have them caged and not running around like wild animals. Also, we have a 6' tall wooden privacy fence all around our property so nobody could really get in or out. We have neighbors all around us that fire guns all day and random dogs wandering around the neighborhood and nobody (police or officials) have come out yet so I doubt chickens will warrant a call. I understand some people thinking they would be dirty or bring in health issues but we have researched this pretty well and my wife grew up on a farm so we have somewhat of an idea how to handle them. I was just seeing if any
  3. So I have read a few postings on here but still have not found an answer. Can residents in Paulding County have backyard chickens? Not roosters, but chickens only for egg laying? We have even called the county and did not get a real answer as to what the law/rules are to this. Are there exceptions made? We live on a half acre lot and all of our neighbors have no problem with us having them and there is no HOA. Can anybody tell me what the facts are on this issue?
