Long story short. I have a coupon upto $500 worth of tires from Firestone. I won this at a Wood Bat coaches meeting a couple of weeks ago. I bought tires a few months ago so I do not have a use for the coupon. No catches you just have to pay the taxes which should be about $35. I am asking $275 for the coupon. Thank you.

I would venture a guess that nearly every resident of Dallas has either played ball, has a child who has played ball, or know of someone who has played ball at Sara Babb park. We need the public's help in keeping our park open to the baseball youth of the area. There is no other park in the county that can absorb another 400+ kids into its program. Therefore, these boys and girls will be forced to give up baseball or play out of county. What does that say for the officials of the city or county?
This is awful. I know the county put all of the money in building MT tabor and Taylor farms and those fields are hardly used at all. Now they want to close a park that has had alot of impact in this community.

So you saying if we want to sign up we need to be their the first day to get on a team or Are you already full because the teams from last year are staying together?
All parks have a few kids that come and go. I am sure that they will have a few openings. I would contact parks and recs. to get the contact info for that park or you can wait until jan. Most all parks put a ad in the local paper advertising when and where to signup for spring baseball. I would suggest for everyone to signup at the park you intend on playing at the first weekend of signups to insure your child a spot to play. Have a great day.

Has New Hope already had sign ups? If so I never heard anything about it. If not how are they almost full I thought it was first come first to be put on a team.
No, all the parks have signups starting the first weekend of Feb. It is first come first serve, but New Hope are always full every year. I do not think that they could handle picking up extra teams or players from another park.

Just confirmed that the City is undecided on what they are going to do. All of which have been in dicussions. They do have a few more meetings before anything is going to be confirmed.
So the rumor is half true. Nothing has been put in stone.
Hope the city keeps in mind all of the families and children this will effect.

That Sara Babb/Dallas Park is not going to have baseball any longer. I heard that the city is taking it over and they are going straight softball and will not offer baseball. Is this true? The person I heard it from is realiable. I just wanted to see if it is true or not.
If it is true, where are all of the baseball teams going to play. I know that New Hope is almost full.
