  1. Actually, I think it is against the law to have wash water run on your property. We were told by a pumber to have washer line separate and run under ground to the woods behind our house. He said that he could not do it. We have such busy body neighbors, we would have been be turned in. Personally, I don't see what the problem would be with clean soapy water.
  2. My advise to anyone looking for a home in Paulding County, DO NOT by a house on a septic tank. We had not lived in our home ( we are the original owners) long when we were forced to buy an additional septic tank, about 300 ft of field line and a pump. I have a dual system. Our yard slopes from front to back. We get all the ground water from neigboring yards when it rains. The yard gets really messy during heavy rains and in the winter. The cold weather causes the water in the ground to rise to the surface. We spent about $5000 to fix the problem 6yrs ago. We have had to have the system pumped
