  1. Yes--that's it--great book! I read a series by Francine Rivers that was good, too.

I love her writing. I have read most of her books and they really make you take a deeper look at yourself. They are wonderful for portraying some of biblical characters in a way that you can understand how the culture was in that time period.

  2. You bring her flowers +5

Until she finds out they came from her own yard -10

Then she sees that they were all that were left when you "accidentally" ran them over with the lawnmower -100

  3. Some fireworks are no longer illegal in Ga.

Specifically Prohibited Firecrackers, torpedoes, sky rockets, roman candles, bombs, and sparklers.

And to slightly hijack- the Braves have the most awesome firworks show after each Friday night home game. We went Friday and had a blast and the fireworks were awesome!

    Ok- hijack over

  4. Sorry, we have been out of town all day and just got back. Yes, he is still available he seems to be part chi and part jack russel terrier. he is very energetic but he is also still a puppy. He is about 1-2 years old. He is great with kids and other dogs. He has fit in well here but the more comfortable he gets in our home the more "energetic" his playing gets with our mini doxie who just had back surgery. I need to find him another home so that our mini doesn't get hurt by his innocence. he is a wonderfully sweet baby and if our mini hadn't had surgery we would definitely be keeping him. He has not yet been to the vet.

If you are interested, please PM me.

    Thanks

  5. We found a dog in the alabama forest. unfortunatley he is a little more than we can handle. he is a wonderfully sweet dog but our mini doxie just had back surgery and I am afraid he is gonna cause her to get hurt. if anyone would like to provide a wonderful home for him, we would all be a little more appreciative.

  6. Can't you make your dog shut up? BARKING all day long. It started at 6 am and is still BARKING.

I am so tired of hearing it. This goes on everyday. You would think it's throat would hurt from all that barking.

OK vent over...As I turn the tv up louder

Where do you live so i know not to go there..dangggg......

  7. Because of Dr. Hatchett and the staff at The Ark my furbaby is still with us. She is a mini doxie and as some know they have MAJOR issues with their back and paralysis. we found her motionless on our back porch one night and rushed her to an emergency vet and they told us it was bad but for them to just do steroids to bring down the inflammation it would be well over $700. We took her home and the next morning my husband was at Dr. Hatchett's office deciding if we were gonna have to put her down. Well, she is only 4 1/2 still a baby and that was a tough choice as we didn't want to lose her but we didn't want her to suffer either. Dr. Hatchett worked out a payment plan for us to have a VERY expensive surgery to fix the discs in her back. he went up there on his days off and so did some of the staff, just to check on her. She lived with the staff up there for a good month or so. He went out of his way to help her and us and we are forever indebted to him and the staff. Because of the surgery he did, they were able to purchase more equipment to do this surgery for other furbabies for a lot less than an orthopedic vet. We are grateful to him and hope that his trials on our furbaby can help someone else.

By the way, she is doing very well now--if he should read this. She is trying to run around our back yard. She is still a little shaky but soooo much better than before...Thank you Dr. Hatchett...for your love and dedication to helping furbabies...

  8. We have used several vets over the 13 years we have lived here. Dr Bowen at The Ark is hands down our favorite. Gets on the floor with our giant dogs and gives excellent care.

I totally agree. We will NEVER take our dogs anywhere else. Dr. Hatchett saved my mini doxie's life. He is awesome!!
