Too bad everyone working for the county was not making the kind of $Jack$ she was. Trim a handful of $65,000 a year jobs with benefits and retirement packages and they would not have to look for ways to increase the revenue.
Unfortunately, I doubt there are too many clerical assistants making that much. Drew will have to lay off 2 more to equal laying off Beverly. Whoops, I'm BAD. I forgot about her $50,000 severance. So what, 2 at $32,500 and 2 at $25,000.
surepip you keep harping on the salary of someone who worked for the county for a lot of years. Seriously you don't know how many assistants replaced her and what their starting salaries were? Keep adding.

Beverly was the AA for Bill Carruth and Jerry Shearin for twelve years from 1996 to 2008 and never once spoke out against the tax increases that the citizens of Paulding County endured during that period of time.
AA is a employee and does not control tax or the commissioner's actions. As a candidate for Post 2 Commissioner Cochran states she is against raising the tax or millage rate.

That video proves that Todd knows how to flush the tax hikers out, And he did it, Where was Beverly when the citizens needed her to speak up?
Cochran has stated clearly that she is against a tax or millage increase.

When there are individuals like Tommie Graham and Todd Pownall on a BOC, Mr. Austin is not going to "control" them. These guys are all very well spoken and not afraid to ruffle feathers. Unlike the spineless commissioners Jerry was able to influence, these guys are not "yes" men.
But then again you know this, you are just slinging sh*t hoping some of it sticks.
Looks like your feathers are getting ruffled a bit there feelip. Those good ole boys just have different faces and they aren't fooling the voters.

I am really not surprised by your pathetic attempts, you are running scared. Todd will win because he is in this race for the right reasons and he has no baggage to bring to the job. David would like to have a post commissioner who will not be focused on getting revenge on a daily basis. You and I will never agree on this issue.

How soon we forget!
Jerry Shearin openly endorsed and worked to elect and re-elect Hal Echols, Wayne Kirby, and Jeff Miller when he ran against Don Powell in 2006 and 2002.
Shearin and his cartel rubber stamped every PRD their local band of ROBBER BARON MEGA DEVELOPERS brought before the BOC. Go back and check the votes and you will notice the only ones not approved were rezonings proposed by the outsiders while doing little to nothing to encourage industrial development, completing the Richland Creek reservoir or much of anything else other than their airport.
Do you really want anyone connected with that crowd on the BOC?
I sure don't, and I am hoping the 73% of the voters who sent Shearin packing 2 years ago will be out there voting for Pownall and Barnett.
Pownall and Barnett are the RBMD candidates.

Cochran and Crowe is enough to scare the hell out of anyone,Why would we want this County to return to the pre 2008 era? A vote for those two will set the county back ten years, Time to move this county forward, Create jobs, Bring in Industry, Complete the reservoir, Move forward not backward
The question is why would Austin be fiercely supporting any candidate. Dont recall other commissioners being allowed to do this or feeling the extreme need as Austin. County employees would be fired for the same. Cochran and Crowe threaten the power and completion of a full good ole boy commission and they are scared. The misleading rebuttal in the Era is evidence of this when Cochran raised questions. Who paid for that ad anyway?

The good ole boys just changed faces and their power has escalated since Austin took office. Cochran and Crowe scare them.
