Georgia Hicks Chappell passed on June 19, 2015, at her home surrounded by loved ones. She attained 83 years. Born into world-wide depression on December 18, 1931, the only child of Albert and Elsie West Ellison. Delivered at 7 months with a birth weight of only 1 ½ pounds, a miracle today, a greater miracle for 1931, she had a small chance of survival.
