I loved Natasha Richardson as an actress. I loved her in Nell. Her mother is Vanessa Redgrave and her sister is an actress as well though I can't think of her name at the moment.
Sad news and a great loss in the entertainment industry.

I am so sorry for your loss, I know the feeling that you and your family are going through. I lost my father in Janurary due to complications from Liver Cirhossis and just 14 months prior lost my mother to stomach cancer. They were 63.
Prayers for you and your family.

Both Katherine Heigle and TR Knight have confirmed they are leaving the show after this season. They have both been released from their contracts. I see how they are having Izzy leave the show. I wonder about George. I bet it will have something to do with Izzys death.

When my son turned 12 we did a faux denuim wall. Choose a blue that looks close to a pair of jeans, then "dapple" on a grey shade. the outcome looked like a pair of faded jeans. He loved it.

Congrats on the newest Eagle Scouts. My son Eagle'd 3 years ago. Your Eagle Scout gift should be suited to the gentleman receiving this honor. When our Scoutmasters nephew received his Eagle, we gave him the red wool jacket like his uncle always wore. My son received his grandfathers (also an Eagle) pocket knife. A sure bet however is always a gift certificate to REI or Dicks. That way they can get what they want or need.
Again Congrats !!

I've been doing some research on a new business venture and wanted to get pcom’s opinion.
Would you take your pet to a self service pet grooming salon?
I have 2 large golden retrievers who make bath time horrible. Not only is it a to bend over the tub and try to keep them in one spot, but it takes another hour just to clean the bathroom when were done. Then the mess that comes with the drying and brushing..... whoo it's a lot. I take them to a professional groomer about once every 8 to 12 weeks, mainly for ears, toenails and anal expressing (can't do that ) But with two big girls it can get expensive, and this economy it’s tough.
I know there is a place like this in Kennesaw, I might check it out next week, but I don't think there is anything like this in our neighborhood.
It would be a place where we provided everything you would need to wash and groom your own pet.
Large washing tubs with ramps for larger dogs.
Washing supplies..... Shampoos and such
Grooming tables with access to all the grooming tools you would need.
Force air dryers.
pet supplies like funky collars and dishes
And maybe even have a professional groomer on staff to do what you wouldn't want to do.... (like nails and )
So what do you think? Would you bring your pet in for around $20 and groom them yourself?

Please accept my apology for posting a topic that has apparently been posted elsewhere. I forgot where I was and did not do the correct PCOM research before posting a topic.

if you tend to give gift cards around the holidays, be careful that the cards will be honored after the holidays.
Stores that are planning to close after Christmas are still selling the cards through the holidays even though the cards will be worthless January 1. There is no law preventing them from doing this. On the contrary, it is referred to as bankruptcy Planning). Below is a partial list of stores that you need to be cautious about.

CLASS OF 88

I cook mine in a dutch oven.
Place your pork loin in a cast iron dutch oven and cover with apple juice.
cook slowly for about 4 hours.
On hour 5 remove all the juices from the pan and coat the loin in apple butter and just enough apple juice to cover the bottom of the pan and cook for another hour.
Ohhh so good.
I usually make this when camping, but works well on a stove or crock pot as well.

Sage, check out my post today for the free cat. She is a beautiful Calico bobtail and she is already spayed. I posted a pic in my post.

She is about a year and a half, she has never been around any other cats but my son has a min pin that she will play with.

I bet when my son did his eagle project, he would have loved this one. Instead he just remodled a community center.

I would definatly consider "fostering" Cody the Golden Retriever. (paying the adoption fee then finding a forever home for him myself) I'm sure my two Goldens would love having a guy around, for a while anyway... maybe I'll come up this afternoon. My only problem is my sons name is Cody too
-
Pictured is "Cody," a ten year old Golden Retriever, neutered male. Given up by his owners, and great with kids and other animals. Poor fella!
I would love to have this boy.... but can't committ to a long term... would love to foster maybe..

Do any of these salons offer spray tan?
-
Can't think of the name of the place, but it is on 41 in Acworth by Jiles road. Great place.

I want one too. I think they are around $30.00 and I don't think you can buy them in stores. Only online.

Time is really the only thing that helps... I lost my mother in November 2007 and now even six months later I still have periods of missing her and crying.
Prayers to you and all of us who have lost someone!

I have two. Daisy's on my ankle and on the inside of my wrist. I want to have some vines added to my wrist and a toe ring done.

I don't have a tattoo, but does anyone wanna see my stretchmarks? (No?)
I thought about getting my stretch marks tatooed in red so they look like flames coming out of my pants.
How did you come up with your pet's name?
