No, it is not wise to supplement with electrical room space heaters because they are not very efficient and are a fire hazard. We would recommend a duel fuel heat pump which uses a combination of gas and electric.

Just in case you haven't had your system repaired yet maybe I can help you out . First i would check your filter but typically its a refrigerant or air flow issue or the combination of the two. If you need service our rates are $49 diagnostic and we are charging $50 lb for P.com members. Wow! That is amazing. This may be a dumb question, but did you have your home custom built this way? LOL! That is funny, but I'm with you. Hate getting out of bed to a cold house too. Ha ha. I've got the space heater but the electric blanket and gloves isn't sounding like a good idea too. Fingers crossed that it won't.

WOW!! I am impressed at the ones who still haven't turned their heat on yet. The heat is on in the office and I usually have a space heater running too. I'll admit it. I a wimp. I don't like to be cold.

Just wondering, has everyone turned their heat on yet? I know I have, but I've talked to some who still haven't. Brrrrrr they must be a lot more warm nature than me.
