This sounds like a great idea. To me it brings back memories of when this park was started. The only two living members of the original committee that formed the orginization [Youth Club Inc] are Dean Hardy and myself. The deceased members were Dean Cochran and of course Sarah Babb.I do not remember if there were other members. The first thing that we worked for was the swimming pool. Sidney Clodfelter of Marietta gave us a very good price and worked with us to build the pool. As I remember Paulding Federal Savings and Loan made us the loan to build the pool. Thank you everyone for your support and constructive critism. We tried our best with what we had for the last year and a new and hopefully better opportunity has finally presented itself to us. It was a crazy year between the flood in September, trying to please the Dept of Agriculture with what we had to work with, plus little Ms. Cora who arrived in April. We just wanted to let all our wonderful customers know that we are moving up the road to the Paulding Plaza. From our old store take a left out of the parking lot going back towards the Kroger. When you get to the red light go straight, we will be in the shopping center behind Huddle House where the old theatre used to be in between The Endless Yard Sale and Tequilas. We will be suite 330. We have two announcements to make actually. We would like to welcome our new addition to the family, Cora Jewel Kirby, born April 13th at 5:43pm, 7lbs 11ozs 21in long. She is a doll!! I'm going to do my best to bring a picture of her up to the store soon for everyone who would like to see. Now, this new load is great!! It has Viva and Scott paper towels, Huggies diapers, wipes, and the Clean Team moist towelettes, Kotex pads, and Huggies lavender baby wash. We just got in a new load of all different kinds of Lysol cleaning products last night. We have everything priced 40-50% off retail prices. Don't forget we are accepting EBT/Food Stamps now. We got some more dog and cat food in so there is a little more variety to choose from. Don't forget to also check out our frozen foods we just got in. There are chicken tenders, breaded chicken breasts, center cut pork loin, and DiGiorno pizza's. We also have bacon, bologna, and ham!! A representative from a bread company is coming by today to see about getting us some loaf bread and rolls. The flood has put us behind a little, but we are making progress, we are going to start carrying some new case goods (the cat food being the first load) and we are totally reorganizing the store to make your shopping trip more enjoyable.
