First and foremost, my family and I are praying for Angela and the girls...that God may grant them the strength to withstand the heavy burden of grief and loss.
I am never good at finding the right words to say at a time like this...are there ever any? No matter how skillfully the words are spoken, the loss is still great. I hope it will be of some consolation to know that there are many people across the whole country who were affected positively by this great person. And those people all have you in their thoughts and prayers. We will aways be here for you.
Though, not a citizen of Paulding, I can realize this has been a loss and a blow to everyone there. In his quiet and unassuming way, Ray made a huge mark on the whole world. Though we never met in person, I am very grateful for having made his acquaintance via a fanclub, email and Instant Messenger, and finding out what a truly good person he always tried to be. I can hope that his influence will make us all look out for those less fortunate than ourselves, offer a stranger a friendly smile or helping hand, and be a genuine asset to our community and fellow man. A person of his caliber will never be forgotten.
We all suffered a painful blow in the passing of this great man...but Heaven gained a very large and bright star.
