****UPDATE**** he just trotted down Willow Bend Drive. Can't get close enough to catch him - and he has no collar or ID!

Male, grey with black spots. Looks like he hasn't eaten in a while - very malnourished. No collar. A sweetie but took off before I could find a leash at the house.

 

If I find him again I'm going to foster him to get his weight back up.

 

 

How do you lose a Great Dane? "Honey, where'd we put the horse?"

Heartbreaking. For what it's worth at least you have closure. And happy memories together.

Many years ago MY skittish dog, Linus - a bassett-corgie mix - also got scared off by fireworks. He was gone for 7 days before finally returning without a collar and very tired. So keep hope yours will return. I'll keep an eye out!

I've just moved to Hiram from Smyrna and I'm looking for a good vet for my 10yo dog. I live close to the Hiram Animal Hospital and that was my first choice, but if anyone has a vet they absolutely love I'm all ears. Thanks.
