From past posts that I have read, the airport is being mostly funded by the Federal Gov't. If this is the case and if the airport spurs more economic development in this county then I would vote 'YES'.

I read recently on the GRTA website that there will be an express bus route originating in Dallas. Does anyone know if and when this is projected to start?

I hope that I am not the only one but has anyone noticed the partial view of the Atlanta Skyline at the intersection of 278/92. When traveling east on 278 on clear day I think that I see a couple of buildings. If anyone has noticed this please let me know becuase I hope that it not my overly active imagination.

Surprisingly, I got an reply from the e-mail that I sent today. They stated that they constantly reveiw whether or not it is economically feasible to have a seperate section for Paulding. It states that Paudling is one of its 'Top Priorities'. They also stated that there has not been an susbstantial advertising retail base until Arbor Place came along. With that in mind the email stated that because of Arbor Place there may be some sort of regional section such as 'West Metro' in the near future . . . We shall see.

I totally agree that there should be some recognition of the West Metro area. I have noticed since I moved to Paulding last March that we get little respect in the AJC . . . I just sent an e-mail to insideajc@ajc.com to request that we be included.

It would be lovely to have a place like LA Fitness in Hiram. I was a member at the gym in Austell but it was a burden to travel there each day on my way home. Hopefully there is some truth to them coming to Hiram.

That was a great article. I remember when the site was first started. I joined right away because I new it would be a big hit. I visit the site 5-7 times a week. It is like an online newspaper for this county.
