    Our house has the flu bug. Started out with my son, he missed 1 full week of school. Went to the Dr. they did some bloodwork and said it's the good old flu. Now I am getting over it, but my baby girl who's 5 has come down with it today. It is very bad.

    I have tried to talk with the principal, but I keep having to talk to the assistant. She tells me that this is the only offense and she knows that she is a good kid. She says she in no form can talk to be about another student regardless of what is. So I am am seeing is favorites because of who he is.

    I need some advice on how to handle a problem. My daughter is a senior a PCHS, well I found out that she skipped 4 classes on Nov 1. She did not leave school grounds, just didnot go to classes. Well she did get 4 days ISS. I do not support her decision, but if this is the worst thing she ever does I feel very lucky. She has never been in trouble, is a very good kid. She told me mom I just made a bad decision. I feel her punishment was fine, she hates being in ISS. Well she has been in Marching Band 4 years, will go on to major in music ed. They told her she will not be able to march for their very last performance. They also told her that if she attends the football game the police will be called. So I called the assistant principal, who told me this was just school policy. She said that this was the only offense. On the other hand, this is where I get really ticked off. There is a kid in the band who from what I understand from other parents, has been in ISS many times, and has always been allowed to march after daddy calls the school and the band director. Whats up with that? You cant do that can you? I have my thoughts on why he is allowed to but I wont state my thinking on this. I cant even get the band teacher to return my calls ( Great communacation ). I have tried to communcate with her all school year with no success. If I had a troubled kid I would back the whole thing but I dont. Also I feel you cant treat one different form another, just because of who they are. I am thinking about taking it to the board, should I? I am not a trouble starter just want what is right. Also I will pay for her to be in band. Thanks for the advice.

    I want to say good luck to all band members. This will be the last march in competition for my daughter, who is a senior. I am very proud of her, considering what we went thru that very first day of band camp (freshman year) she know what I'm talking about (LOL). I love you very much Booger, just remember it does not stop here.
