I really enjoyed all the shows last night and Patty's appearance was a real surprise.
I'm trying to get a few things finished today and will be back tonight.
-
I plan to make it on Saturday and will sure to enjoy the music
You're right......the BBQ is hard to beat and the weather even looks great this weekend

I use a program called "ieSpell". It's a free Internet Explorer browser extension that allows you to spell check anything you type in a text box and works great. After downloading and installing the program it will set up in your "Tools" on Internet Explorer. The program works great and it's free.
Here is a link for downloads;

DaisyMae, here is a link to their website;

As I mentioned I really did enjoy the concert and will try to see them again if they make it back to our area. I think they were still selling tickets before the show, I wish more could have attended.

Jerry asked for and received an extention of 14 days (after the initial 14 days) to respond to the complaint to determine if a full inversigation should be conducted after the informal hearing by the State Ethics Commission. The deadling for the extention was up last Friday. A subpoena has been mailed by the State Ethics Commission to Bruce Harris's office to serve to Jerry. As of earlier this a.m. it had yet to be served.
We really need "Spell Check" on this site.

I went and really enjoyed the show. Selah was great and everything went as planned. I too would like to thank our local churches that were involved with the concert and all that bought tickets to attend.
WRC deserves a special thank you for setting up the gym and allowing the use of their equipment.

Yesterday, the people spoke.
This county banded together and a small fraction of the population proudly stood and loudly proclaimed “We……Are…..Average !!!!!!!!!....and damn proud of it.”
The message is clear…….Good enough is good enough. “It’s better than it used to be”.
I love being able to speak my mind again.
As I read the post today I have to say I am impressed with the class that was exhibited by all the candidates who failed to win in their respective races. I thought many would be angry and express their anger for all to see.....I guessed wrong and am proud to admit that all of our candidates are to be commended for the race they ran and their professionalism even when losing the elections they worked so hard to win.
IMO this is a classic example of what should be "thought and not said." What is to be gained by stating that the citizens of our county are not smart enough to elect the candidates they want to represent them in office
If you like to call us "average" I will admit that I am "damn proud" to fit your profile and can also say I've been proud of our county for 50 years and hope to continue another 50. Not every candidate I voted for won but I can accept the fact that our citizens voted and I will support their candidates as I would my own.
Congratulations to the winners and losers and I wish them all the best.

Sorry to hear that Miss Edna passed. The Parkers were both very special people and always active in our community. My prayers are with their family.

I've know Charles every since he came to Dallas quite a few years ago. I'm still shocked and lost for words but feel our community truly lost a valuable businessman.
Charles has continued to run his business as a "small town pharmacy". He knew most of his customers by name, always had a pleasant smile, and even allowed customers to have a charge account at his business........try that at one of the major drugstore chains.
Charles was as Jimmy Campbell was before him, a people’s person, and one that will be missed.
I am truly saddened by this great loss and ask that you pray for his family and co-workers.

I just heard that Charles Curl died late yesterday as a result of a tragic accident.
Charles has been a great friend on mine for many years and I'm still in shock and lost for words to express my feeling about the tragic loss.
Will you keep his family in your thoughts and prayers

Thanks for the wonderful service you provided for our community. For many years the theater and drive-in were one of the few sources of entertainment in Paulding County. Without you these would have died many years ago and our children would have been forced to leave the county just to watch a movie. I hope you both enjoy your well earned retirement and I'll never forget your kindness and dedication to our community.
Thanks For The Memories

I like it
A couple more.....
Can I shoot your gun?
Don't you have more important things to do?
-
Thanks for the information. I hope all of the members will watch and decide which candidates should represent us.

I'm not a doctor but would suggest you talk to one. You headaches may be nothing or could be something that will require treatment. I would suggest that when you get up in the morning with the problem you go by an ambulance service or a fire department and they will be glad check your blood pressure for free. At least it will help eliminate one of the possibilities.

If you rent movies it's the only way to go.......I'll never go to a rental store and play theirs games again
I can't tell you all the times I've rented movies and had to return them without even watching the movie.........but I hate late fees

But as I read it, from what I've read in the past, there is very little that can't be backed up by actual facts.
What's listed in military record - verifiable.
Voting record - verifiable.
Campaign records - verifiable.
That's the funny part

I ran across this the other day. It will entertain some and anger others but isn't this the same as Fahrenheit 9/11?

Powder Springs has a great fireworks show with plenty of food and live music. The event will start around 5 p.m on July 4 at the Powder Springs Town Square.
-
Thanks for the information.
My thoughts and prayers will be with Mike and his family.
-
If you get bored and want to see a fireworks show here's a link.
If nothing else it will entertain the kids

Just another of the great businesses in the county will be lost forever.
I for one appreciate the service Tom and Waneta provided for the community for many years. They operated their theater themselves and spent countless hours providing a valuable service to the community.
During these years they watched many of our kids grow into adults......knew most by name.......and loved them as their own.
I can only thank them for their service and wish them the best during their well earned retirement.

Y'all have my head spinning thinking about all the things I'd like to do if I won the money
I just can't decide
I'll tell you what I won't do....................Work Again

Nice Pictures!!!!!!!!!
I've been to Yellowstone once but only stayed for a few days. Maybe someday I can go and spend a couple of weeks and get a chance to get some good pictures myself. I bet it was a great trip.

It's just another sad story. It seem that in todays world we see so much of this on the news we have adjusted to accept the tragedies.
Even if I can accept it I will never understand how anyone could do this. If he wanted to commit suicide why would he take another's life.

You can bring a cooler and food but I don't think they allow coolers in the concert area and I know they don't allow alcoholic beverages in the concert area.
I doubt you will have a problem
Hope you can make it
