The best nursing program: Emory [i]Nope.... check NCLEX pass rates.... you will be surprised - I promise!! Just b/c it is $$$ doesn't mean it is the best! [/i]
The best State nursing program MCG in Augusta see above......
The best local nursing program: Kennesaw State (nearly 1k applicants for 80 slots) AND turns out the best clinically trained and READY nurses in the STATE!! You can check the local schools for NCLEX pass rates - which is all that really matter b/c just graduating doesn't cut it - you must sit for boards to get teh "RN" behind your name!! Trust me outside the birth of my children - passing that test was the greatest accomplishment of my life!!!!
Good Luck - As you can see from my biased opinion - I'm a graduate Magna Cum Laude with Honors from KSU!!

Yep - we are very excited - they could not see his heart totally today so I'll get another u/s in 2 weeks!
Feeling very tired and still sick off and on - not complaining.
Evan will be welcomed by Big Bro and Big Sis! They are excited too!

I'm currently 17 weeks and a few days and I've tried on NUMEROUS accounts to get a glimpse as to what this little bean is and no dice.. it is as stubbirn as its mommy! I'm gonna try again this week!

I second Tulman Eye Group - we have used them for over 13 years and I would not go anywhere else. HOWEVER - do not be in a hurry b/c you do have to wait BUT you leave feeling like you have had the best eye exaqm ever and will be seeing perfectly with the prescription they give. Vader and I both wear contacts/glasses and Lil Vader (8 y/o) wers glasses. They have even given Lil Sugarbritches eye exams for the last 2 yrs b/c of our poor family vision history.
Plus - my mom works there

Congrats on the Suburban but .... you should have driven a Honda Odyssey - I LOVE My Van!! I've always been ANTI-grocery getter mini-van type but once Vader did some research - we drove the Toyota, Chysler and then the Honda - hands down.... the Odyssey won! I traded my SUV for the Odyssey! LOVE iT!

Vader SURPRISED me with a wonderful pregnancy massage yesterday - totally out of the blue!
Lisa - you are wonderful and I've already spoke with vader - I will definately be doing that again - I was sooo relaxed - I wanted to melt into my couch at home!
It was so nice meeting you too and thank for making my birthday albeit # 34 very special!!!!

It does make you feel good. And with all the "doom & gloom" that we hear everyday now, I can't begin to tell you what it meant to me.
Our business is part of the construction industry. The downturn over the last two years has affected us greatly (as it has so many others.) Last night, my husband & I were talking about what steps we can take to make sure we can continue to provide for our family over the next few years. It was a bleak conversation.
But in the middle of it, we began to remind ourselves of the promises that God has made to us. He promises to prosper us, and not to harm us. To give us a hope and a future. He will never forsake us. He takes care of the birds of the air and the flowers of the field, and He loves us much more than those.
That tiny act of kindness that the woman did for me this morning reminded me that God will ALWAYS take care of us, and that it doesn't always come in the ways we would expect.
You are a very wise woman. Thank you soo much for this post. I hope you have a wonderful day!

This has come by COMPLETE and mid blowing shock as we have always had fertility issues...
We will be welcoming a new little one to our family around the 1st of Sept - vader was a little gun shy on his dates. My actual due date is 9/15 - but I'll have a scheduled c/s a few weeks early!

I would most definately get a second opinion! Each doc (make sue you are seeing one and not just a "dispenser" of glasses!!) has their own theory on vision correction. And try to get a pediatric doc too!
Lil Vader started to wear glasses over a year ago - no problems and Lil Sug will *probably* end up in them as she has a moderate astigmatism that we are watching for any progression. Vader and I both wear glasses/contacts so.. our children really are doomed! LOL
Just get a second opinion and go from there!

We had Lil Sugarbritches' 3rd birthday party there in December and it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can NOT go wrong!!!! Toni and her staff are da-bomg and you are paired with a "helper" in your party room and they are sooo helpful with getting everything arranged!

Oh goodness! My thoughts and prayers are with you!
Lil Vader starting having headaches mimicing pediatric migraines and we discovered his vision was TERRIBLE! The headaches were caused from eye strain. They would even make the poor little guys sick!
I hope everything turns out OK!

Lil Sugarbritches and I were at the hospital yesterday around luinch delivering some embroidery to some co-workers - she was born just after that!! They even called last night AND this morning begging me to work - must be super busy week!
Rest up - she is a CUTIE!
