I don't really consider that I have a "hometown". I was born in Miami, but was only there 6 weeks. Lived in each of the following for a few years. I know I'm missing a couple towns from when I was little, but here goes...

What city near Traverse City did you spend your summers? I'm from Florida, but spent my summers in Charelvoix. Most of my family is from MI and we have a family house up there right across the street from Lake MI. Actually, I'm flying up there next week for a week!

A favorite we always play with friends would be any of the Scene It games---t.v., movies, music, men vs. women trivia games that require to answer ?'s from cards as well as clips from a dvd. We love them---loads of fun!

I'm from Florida---only been in GA for 2 years. I really miss it, but I have to say, it's sooooo much more expensive to live there. After the hurricane seasons a few years ago, homeowner's ins. has gone through the roof!!!!! And you don't really have seasons there. If I move again, I'll probably go north.
I do miss the beach, though!

I agree with Soapmom--Conch House is great! Another one I always try to get to when I go there is Saltwater Cowboy's. I can't tell you exactly where it is, because it's easy to miss...but if you look it up/ask around, you can can directions. It's off A1A, but the turn can catch up on ya. If you go, I'd call to see if they take reservations---it's too fancy, but it does get busy. I'm jealous--have fun!
