As of today, I have not started any petition. I have sent numerous emails and left messages for our commissioners and also to local medial outlets to express my concerns. As of today, I received only a brief 2 sentence email from our commissioner as he is apparently out of town for spring break. I am more than willing to start or sign up with anyone who is willing to get our voices out there. If anyone would like to schedule a "community" meeting or will send me dates, I will be more than happy to get the word out. While my intention is not to "stir the pot" and start nasty discussions on p.com, I am simply stating that I live in this community and I have lived here for 11+years. I did not purchase a home in a subdivison such as Seven Hill specifically for that reason. This was our first home and we specifically chose a smaller, more established area for that purchase. I am just wondering if anyone else in the area is aware that a Dollar General Store is about to be opened in Burnt Hickory Estates? There was never a sign posted in regards to this matter and no apparently only a small notice was placed in the newspaper to notify the residents of such. The entrance is going to not be from Hwy 61 as one would imagine but instead will be from the subdivision. This is already a high traffice area especially during school hours. Several accidents have already occured in this area over the past several years and I just wonder how our Board and representative of the
