I have a menu , but I was not sure if I was allowed to post it. If someone would let me know that I can , I would be happy to. We went back Saturday for lunch. It was as good as the first time and they are such nice people. I told them I hope they do well. Their food is really good. My husband tried the beef bbq plate and it was really good too. We had only had the pork bbq.

oh my gosh! We just got back from eating at Wallace's in Yorkville. YUM! Their BBQ is delicious. I had a BBQ sandwich, with onion rings and brunswick stew. Everything was wonderful. I am soooo excited to have a good sit down restaurant in Yorkville. I have already invited her sister and family to come out to eat with us there this weekend! I am from Douglasville and they remind me so much of Hudson's. The bbq and the brunswick stew both taste like Hudson's . I will definitely be going back very soon. My mom had a hickory salad that was really good also. Yeah for Yorkville!

scott's in yorkville is out of regular gas. it was 4.09 a gallon. had to fill up on premium 4.39, but that was less than my bro-in-law . he just paid 4.49 a gallon for regular at sav a ton in dallas. that was after he had been to 4 gas stations that were out of gas.

by looking at the kids in my son's school, i think mohawks are actually on the comeback trail. i think i saw 4 or more at open house two weeks ago.

my husband and I went out to eat at the red lobster in rome several months ago. there were two men behind the restaurant smoking cigarettes and chatting. one had a red gas container and said he had ran out of gas, did we have any money to spare. we said no we did not have any cash. they were very scary looking and i was afraid they were going to break into our car while we were eating. they were good at intimadating people. it just kills me how people have money for cigarettes but not gas. which is more important?

Shop at Bargain Barn. LOVE that place!!! It burned to the ground a couple of years ago so now it is back and very nice!

We were up there yesterday. DH got a ticket and we had to go fight it. They were so nice and dropped it, but did have to pay court costs... NE way. It was very pretty up there. We ate lunch at the Mickey D's and went into the Walgreen's to waste time. (we were early for court) It looked like there were several shops and such to browse around. It looked like the falls were pretty close by. Hope you have a nice day there.

My dog's ID tag disappeared. She still has on her rabies tag, but the id tag is gone. I guess it broke off? Never found it in the yard. Anyway, I had bought that one at a machine inside the old walmart in hiram. Does anyone know if they still have that machine. I have not seen one at the rockmart walmart. Any suggestions on where to buy one locally. i saw you could or one on petsmart and petco, but by the time they add in shipping it ends up being almost 20 dollars. Thanks!

my very first date...
A "friend" set me up with a dude I had never seen. We talked on the phone and decided to go eat mexican. He wanted to pick me up, but I decided to drive to his house. I get to his trailer and he walkes out wearing a Garfield shirt 3 sizes too small for his beer belly and blue jeans 3 sizes too big. He seemed really nice so we get in his truck . He lived right near 20 in Douglasville so we hopped on the interstate and got off at the next exit (hwy 5) and went to the mexican restaurant. Well, we ordered and I told the waited I was on my own ticket. He said not a word. (he invited me.. i was just trying to be nice) Then he orders a 32 oz beer. Like a monster beer. His beer would have paid for my whole dinner. anyway, i know i will get flack for expecting him to pay but he asked me to dinner. He did not say would you like to meet somewhere and talk... which then i would have expected to pay for my own. So then i have to get in his truck and ride on the interstate back to his trailer. I prayed the whole way just to get there safely. I told him I had a good time and thank you and that I had to go to work early. NOT . He tried and tried to get me into his trailer. I most definately did not , hopped in the car and thanked God for getting me outta there safely. He called several times, but I never answered. Thank the Lord for caller ID!!! I was about 18 and very sheltered. He really scared me.. I don't think someone should get drunk on the first date and drive his date home. I was young and stupid. I should have called someone to come get me, but I did not want to hurt his feelings. I did not date for quite awhile. I just went out and had fun with my friends, met my hubby when i was out dancing and have been with him for 16 years this month.

On Monday, I report for jury duty. I've never been called before so I have no idea of what to expect, but I'm actually looking forward to it.
Has anyone has jury duty recently? If so, can you use your cellphone, blackberry, etc. while you are in the courthouse, but not in the actual courtroom (i.e., waiting in the jury room)? Also, do you know what time the day usually ends? I'm trying to get my ducks in a row here at the office and decide if I can come to the office after I get off of jury duty or not-- just trying to plan ahead... Poor hubby gets the fortunate task of driving the princess to daycare in Midtown and then driving on to work in Kennesaw (and then do the reverse on the way home). If I get picked, next week is going to blow for him.
ETA: I have no idea why this posted twice...
I had jury duty last year. We brought our phones in , but the judge is extremely serious when he says they must be turned off. During jury selection one lady's phone went off and they took it from her and the judge told her he would speak to her on break and she would not get it back til the end of the day. We never forgot to turn ours off after that. I was chosen and was on the jury for over a week. We had to be there anywhere from 8:30 am until 5- 5:30. We were told each day at the end of the day when to report for the next day. They have snack/ coke machines in a couple of different areas. There are several good places to eat around there. A pizza place (sal's i think) and a sandwich shop that has wonderful sandwiches. It was very interesting. I learned a lot. I met a lot of really great people, but it was an extremely difficult case. This country will never change. Hillary Clinton is a racist pig, she and her husband and I wouldnt trust them as far as I could throw them. Its time for a change people. Get with the program, quit looking at people because of their color. Obama can not do any worse than Hillary and anybody would be better than G.W Bush. And you also trust someone that is waiting for someone else to die so that they can get the nominee, Bill and Hillary would do anything to get the nominee and I can't wait to see the look on her face when she is defeated.
I take great offense to that. You do not know me or what I am about. It has nothing to do with color. It has to do with being a proud American. I do not care what color you are. America comes first. I believe anyone that is our Commander in Chief should have military experience. I do not think you should be able to become president just because you have money. There should be requirements in place so that we have an experienced person as our nations leader. Personally , I do not think think we have any terrific options. As a Christian I am against a lot of things that they support.
