  1. I agree with LLF...we just had the vet out on Friday...and easy 200. gone. We have 2 horses and a donkey and spend 250. a month on food.

There is tons of work involved. Tell him to think long and hard.

We love are critters, but they change everything.

  2. Ok, Blake keeps asking to go to "Ckool mommy" so we decided to see what was close and how much it was. We are now 5 seconds from Rose's Store and I have NO idea what is out here that may offer a program of some sort for 2 yr olds.

Only one I found info online was for New GA Baptist and its $115 registration and $115 a month for M/W or T/TH 9-12

    anyone know of anymore?

    TIA!

Have you check the daycare in villa rica? its right off 101...can't remember the name. I'm also 5 secs from Roses..there is nothing out here. My ds goes to PKU. Thank God he will be in kindergarten this fall..no more driving back and forth. I can't believe that the preschools at the churches are so expensive..when my dd(now 12) went to Douglas First Baptist we paid $40.00 a month for 2 days, 1/2...even in preK, didn't pay more then $75. Lordy Lordy, and I still have one more to go..lol

  3. Thanks for the replies...I didn't even think of DFACS, and I didn't know Hiram had a Paulding Pregnancy Service. I have about 6 cans of the powdered formula..enfamil and similac.. be great knowing it won't go to waste! Any idea about the coupons they will be expiring soon?

  4. Loved Heath...total shock.

They just said that it was his apartment..not an Olsens. There were prescription sleeping pills and pain killers. They are doing the autopsy tomorrow. Friends have said he was still pretty torn up about the break up with Michelle.

    What a waste.. :(

  5. I have a new baby, and have recieved samples of different formulas and still recieving coupons. Was wondering if anyone knows where I can donate them? Or if anyone out there would like them? I'm a bf'ing mom so I won't ever use it. I know how expensive formula can be, hate to see the savings go to waste.

    Anyone have any ideas?

  6. If it is back in the school system its nothing new. If anyone remembers it went thru Paulding County in 2005. I remember getting the hand out, because my son who was 2 at the time wasn't in school or daycare but ended up getting this..not once but twice. My daughter who was in the 4th grade never got it. You don't have to be in school to get it..this is passed where ever. If someone has it and touches something then you touch it..well just remember wash your hands, and make sure your kids do too.

I do know the antibiotic they give you is gross..we literally had to sit on my toddler to get him to take it..smells like sewer water..ewww..

  7. Here's the link. Hope it works. On the second page is a number for American Cancer Society in Douglas County that partners with Paulding. I hope they can help.

Thanks for the site, I went on the American Cancer Society site yesterday...I decided to post something on here after not finding any info there. I have called the ACS...there are is no transportation available unless you live in the Metro Atlanta area. I will contact Douglas County...maybe they can help.

I have pretty much decided not to stress about it...after a lot of thought last night. My biggest concern is she makes her Cyber Knife appts. They are covered, she may just have to miss her next chemo treatment...but she can get it next month. When things will be much easier...notice I didn't say calmer..lol

Thanks to all of you for your responses!

  8. I'm not one that will usually ask for help, but I have been put in a situation where I really don't have a choice.

    Brief explanation:

My mother has Ovarian Cancer..she was in remission, it came back in her brain. She has a number of symptoms because of these tumors and can no longer drive. She has been living with me since May when she was diagnosed with the brain tumors. I am her primary care giver...I do have family, just not family I can count on.

Now, I am also pregnant with my 3rd child(the oops I did it again baby..lol) Because of the stress levels and taking care of kids, house . animals, mother and generally running her everywhere I have been put on bed rest. I will be on bed rest until the baby gets here...she will be delivered early Oct. 24Th. My poor hubby has been taking care of all of us, along with working full time.

Okay here is my question, my mother has almost two full weeks of appts this month, the person that I had helping us with transportation decided it was time to move.. I have found a way to get her to most of these appt. I really need to know if there is an organization in Paulding county that can get her to her Chemo appts the week of the 22nd....I will be in the hospital having a baby. Her drs office is being absolutely no help, and the coordinator actually had me feeling guilty because I live so far out....I live in Union. I am so tired of hearing how will live to far out of a pick up district. If anyone knows of a local free transportation please let me know...Really desperate here, she had already missed one round of chemo this month...she doesn't need to miss the second, but that is what will happen if I can't find her a ride.

  9. Welcome!
