We live off of Pleasant Grove Road...Country Creek Sub...Got tons of candy...now the little one doesn't want to go trick or treating..she wants to stay home to give out candy...sweet tarts, nerds, pixie sticks, now&later suckers, cry baby gum (
which I tricked Taylor into trying last night...very sour and she didn't think it was near as funny as I did...LOL)Guess we'll sit in...watch movies...and give out candy...

My daughter is in Amani's class at Union. They talked to her today at school about whether he was on the bus this morning or not and if she had seen him. She doesn't know the situation, she told me a little while ago when I talked to her that she wondered if he moved since he wasn't on the bus this morning. I told her he has not moved to just say a prayer for him. My thoughts and prayers are with them all!! Very Scary!!

Okay, with all the negative about banks being said here, not sure if I should say that I am a "banker" by trade. LOL...I have worked for Community Trust Bank and SunTrust, so I am familiar with their policies. I now work at Community Bank of Rockmart. I may not have the answers for everything, but I will answer any questions I can. We do NOT pull credit bureau's to open accounts, we only verify Chexsystems, which verifies that you have not had accounts charged off at other banks. We pride ourselve with being a TRUE COMMUNITY bank. We are locally owned. All of our directors are from here in Rockmart or Cartersville. All of our decisions are made within our walls. I know from experience, with SunTrust, loan decisions are not made at the branch level.
We have direct deposit, free checking, free ATM, and by free I mean FREE, we will not charge you for using another bank's ATM like some banks do, however if you do use another bank's ATM and that bank charges you a fee, we will refund you those fees if you bring in the original receipts. Free Internet Banking, and great customer service!!

Does anyone know what happened? Coming home tonight there were 2 life-flight helicopters on Pleasant Grove Road at Beulahland Baptist. Thoughts and prayers are with whoever was involved. was just curious since it was so close to home.

I work in Rockmart and we have been informed today of a 3 year old childs death in Cartersville related to a vaccination he received on Tuesday. Has anyone heard anything about this??? Just curious...I have one due shots in a couple of weeks...
