  1. It is a good song but refuse to sign the book mainly since the liberal hack Norman Lear is involved.

I am a Christian and an American(have been an American for 43 years) and I don't need to be re-born again not to mention serving my nation and holding on to my conservative values and sadly watching this nation go to hell. This is an ode to the Annoited One and I will have no part of it.

TBAR posted this not long ago too.

Hey Ithiel, I am glade we agree to disagree. I don't care who wrote it and who started this liberal, conservative, independent. It is all about Americans standing up and say we are the boss, our leaders need to listen to us. We are tired of the greed in Washington and want our jobs back in here in the United States and stop sending them overseas and paying these companies to do so.

Standing and re-affirming our pledge to the United States of American is not an ode to God Almighty. And our nation is slipping into hell because we have so many that "sadly watching this nation go to hell" instead of getting up and helping to save her by making our State and Federal Leader listen to us and to God and stop being greedy an listening to the lobbyist.

    God Bless Americans and America.

  2. I signed the pledge and,i am working on some lyrics.I don`t think one would have to be a born again christian... just an american to enjoy the site.

    HB.

Good luck with the lyrics and please let me know when you post it.

I too signed the pledge and started the voting process, there is a lot there and there are so much more in these bills than you hear on the news.

I have booked marked this site and will be a frequent visitor.

    God Bless

  3. Nope, I am in a great mood, I just dispize people that have nothing better to do than correct grammer on a message bord. I wonder if they have ever recieved a text mesage from a teenager? oh yeah, and if dtl had started this in the religious forum wher it obiosly belongs I would have never seen it. ;)

I did not start it in the religious forum because it is not a religious subject. It is all about Americans standing up for what is going on in this country and letting the world know that we are taking control and insisting that our leaders listen to us.

In retrospect jlh is being American being a Christian? One could argue that point, but that is another topic.

I hope that you enjoyed the video and if not, I am sorry....to each his/her own.

God Bless and I hope you have a better day.

  4. She sure is a beautiful cat...and she was sooo sweet when she was dropped off today! We will make sure she gets a great home!

THANK YOU PC .... I would never have given her up, but my allergies have gotten so bad since I have had her, I am having to take 3 allergy shots a week.

I know that she will find a good home.

  5. Jennifers Rescue is going to take her this afternoon at 4:30pm.

If you don't know about Jennifers Rescue.. she is a No Kill Rescue that will take cats and than she spends all day Saturday at Pet Smarts finding these cats new homes. She does charge for adoption. I am not sure how much.

So Angel is on her way to finding a good home. If any of you are interested in Angel you can go to Pet Smart and look at her there and adopt her

    Thank you for your help

  6. Angel is still looking for a good loving home to settle into.

As I have said, I hate to have to give her up, but my allergies are so bad.

If Angel can't find a new home by Monday, I will have no choice but to take her to the shelter and I don't want to do that. The shelter is so over crowded with cats now, I am afraid Angel would not have success in finding a new home.

Please give Angle a new home.

    Thank you

  7. Miss Angel is right at one year old. She has been spayed and de-clawed (all 4 paws)

This is Angel's story. A friend of mine daughter noticed this cat running around her neighborhood for a little over a week before she was able to finally capture her with some food.

Angel had been dropped off to fend for herself for over a week. She was so skinny and scared by the time my friend finally captured her. They took her to the vet and got her on her way to being healthy again, but Angel does not like dogs of any kind and would hide all the time, so in order to get Angel back on her feet, I agreed to take her into my home.

She has grown and gained weight and is a very healthy, happy, playful and loving cat. She learns her boundaries with just one correction. She loves to be brushed and if her brush in left on the floor, it is a hoot watching her try to brush herself.

She loves to be loved but she does not like to be picked up. She want to jump up on you and be loved.

This little one has been through so much and I would not give her up if it wasn't for my allergies. I am having to get allergy shots three time a week now because I am so allergic to the cat dander. It brakes my heart to have to let her go, but I have to do what is best for Angel and me.

The ideal home for Angel would be as a single pet or with another cat that is also de-clawed. She can never go outdoors as she has no way to defend herself.

Please help me find this loving cat a good home.

    Thank you

    Thomas

  8. Politics aside, this is exactly why the tax payers of this great country are having $750 Billion of their money highjacked and bailing out banks.

All these bad business loans and loan cover-ups and now we are paying for it.

We were told that money was going to help bail out the banks so they could address the foreclosure problem and that never happened. The money has all gone to bail out political investments and bad dealings and now the banks are refusing to say where or what they did with the money. And they don't have to because the treasurer never required them to do so.

Yet people like Perdo-do get loans that are reckless to say the least .

  9. Anyone have any good suggestions for oily hair? My hair is long, thick, and oily. I can't seem to find a shampoo that seems to clean it real good. I have tried lots of different brands and for different hair types b/c I can't find a shampoo that is for oily hair. It all seems to be for color treated, dry, or fine hair. Any suggestions appreciated.

I have very fine hair which is oily. I started using Pantene Prov-Ve Fine / Volume about 6 years ago and will not use anything else now. It leaves my hair clean and soft and I have not had an oily problem since. I use to have to wash my hair every day or it looked like a grease pit, now I can go 2-3 days between shampooing.

  10. Tow, I did not see this until today.

I am so happy that God moved your heart to call for help for this family. So many of us have been there and done that but we never talk about it. Thank you for speaking out for the abused and sharing your story, maybe someone that is reading it will finally come out and speak against their abuser and get help.

I think, the biggest gift you gave, not only to this woman and her children, but to the citizens that read this, that there is help out there and people are willing to help.

God put you in the position of being a police officer for a reason Tow, and I think it has finally hit you.

May you and your family have a wonderful and joyful Holiday Season and my prayers will be with you daily as you put your uniform on and go to protect and serve your community.

God Bless and Thank you for letting me be a part of this family's healing process.

  11. I just got the proof of page lay out too.

I think this was such a great idea Curtis.

Thanks for all the hard work Curtis and Elwood.

    ~~ question:

Looking at the list, it appears that out of the orginal 24, 4 back cover and 6 alternates we only ended up with 22 members.

Is this going to take down the number of brochures? or Can we cover the cost of the other two and still keep the same amount of brochures?

  12. I voted dog, HOWEVER, I have my first cat and she is such a sweetie. She was dropped of in a neighborhood and it took about a week before the people figured out that she was a stray and didn't belong to anyone in the neighbor hood. She is declawed so had no way of protecting herself or fending for herself.

Long story short, she ended up at one home for a couple of days, than another home for a couple of days and than another home for a couple of day so that when she came to me she didn't know if she was coming or going.

So now Miss Angel and I live together and like the dogs before her, she rules the rust.....LOL She really is a sweetie, she loves to be loved on, and she follows me from room to room.

Now I wish there was a space for Dogs and Cats...I love them both alike....

  13. ?? Other than that I am right there with you!!!

You know, clean someone's house for them, rake someone yard, but your body into it with manual labor........... (get your mind out of the gutters soft)

Too religious. I don't believe that happy birthday Jesus stuff.

Too each his own Super. You have the right to have your beliefs. Not that you would have 100 years ago. But you have your right. God Bless and Happy Holidays to you and your family

  14. Christmas is a time for giving and sharing with others. This does not mean spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on presents. It means giving from the heart. Give things that come from you, your hands, your mind, your body. Making things for people, doing things for people, visiting people that are alone, feeding people that are hungry, clothing people that are cold, that is what Christmas is about. Remembering that Jesus Chirst was born this day, walked amongst us, help his fellow man and than died for us. That was the ultimate gift.

I do believe that Christmas has become more commercialized and folk do forget what the season is all about.

    Love, Peace, Joy

    Happy Holidays
