My Daughters husband walked out on her 4 weeks ago. She is not working, no income, 2 small children (ages 3 and 5), he took the car, she has mine now, but I will have to have it back soon because of me working and 3 months behind on rent.They were to start eviction procedures on her yesterday. He has not given her a single dime for ANYTHING except he paid a electric bill for her. We have groceries covered. She has filed for divorce but they will not have a hearing until June 11th. In the meanwhile, we have to find her a place to live. The other problem we are having is she will have an eviction on her record and that will go against her as far as finding a place. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

We were there last weekend and they went tubing. The river was low so me and the baby stayed behind (thank God). There is a water park there and I think it is 15 for all day and I also think that includes tubing. Not quiet sure on that one. Don't forget the horse and buggy rides. They are reasonable. Have fun. Also, your little girl would enjoy Baby General Hospital if you happen to go back and take her. That is in Cleveland. Have a safe trip!
BTW.....Take a long stick when tubing, it helps alot!

One of the sacriest days of my life was finding out that my 8 month old had epilepsy. I knew nothing about it.
I thought that was epilepsy. I may be wrong.

Thanks for replying! This has been a dream of hers for some time now. There are so many people out there that suffer from this and she has now found a group of doctors that are really helping her. She will be having brain surgery this year and wants to help others that may feel there is no hope. Please feel free to e-mail her and let her know where you heard this from. I do not suffer from this, but from working with her I have seen her go through so much and just never realized how this effects people.

Actually, I think it is kind of sad. How much quality time can she possible spend with her kids? I think they just do this for a show. JMO

These sick people needs to be put out of their misery! This makes no sense. I have never in my life heard such. What did this CHILD to do anyone? NOTHING, but lived life to her best. These are not even classified as animals!

I just started reading this. What happened to Douglas's house? Poor fellow. He is such a good man. He was very good friends with my grandparents. If anyone has the chance to stop and talk to him, it is such a blessing. He knows so much on the community and how things used to be. I used to cook and take him plates when I lived closer. When I am back down there I plan to stop.

My son has it. Had him at the Doctor yesterday and he tested positive for it. That test like to have killed him. He has a fever, hurts all over and has been in bed since Friday night. Has not ate 1 bite. The meds they give you is expensive so beware if you don't have insurance, my co-pay was 50! Now, I hope the rest of us don't get it
