    If anyone of you had every stepped foot in the business office you would know that his office personnel had not done billing in over 3 years! I believe whent this was started over and over again a open invitation was given to come by any time to see for yourself BUT NO not one of you stepped through that door and asked questions to some one who could answer them correct so from someone who has been there done that. If you dont know what you are talking about when you talk ill of others you need to learn some manners! Didnt your mama ever tell you JUDGE YOURSELF before you JUDGE others. No one knows the truth but the ones who work/worked there.

    I have a good bit of NEW stuff I would like to donate to someplace today before my husband makes me take to goodwill. Infant and toddler clothing for both boys and girls, TONS of infant and toddler hats. This stuff is brand new with tags. I've also have some gently used girls clothing in size 6 or smaller.

     

    Also, If anyone has a use for a big box of plant hooks etc let me know.

    I work for Clark Funeral and we are trying to find a limo service for this service. I have contacted Nick w/Ultra Limo and he is working up a price. Need about 3 limo for 40 people from 12-4. The family is limited with funds any suggestions will help.

    I got a Paulding Community in the mail today center page has:

    Free $5.00 Game card

    1 Free Game of Bowling

    1 Free Game of Lazer Tag

    1 Free Bumper car ride

     

    I had my son's party there on a Sunday night after 6:00 Bowling, Bumper Cars and Lazer Tag $2.00 a game

    Also all during the day they gaveaway free games and at certain times you could buy a 10.00 game card and they would double it.

    But the question that I have is ... why is the county still running the med units on calls?

    The reason is there is are 10 fire stations in the county with BLS rescues staffed with an EMT or Paramedic, these trucks can usually arrive a lot quicker than an ambulance can due to where they are located. The Rescue or even an Engine can perform basic life support (CPR,defibrilation,airway and IV's) until an ambulance arrives. I know I would rather my tax money pay for this than to have a citizen die because it took an ambulance 10 minutes to arrive which sometimes happens due to them being very busy.

    As far as the county running the ambulances it would take a lot of money for trucks,equipment,personnel etc. Talk to some of the surrounding counties that run ambulances and most will tell you it is a money draining service. As far as subsidizing private services the County sets stipulations for the service to meet and as long as these are met a private service is a lot more cost effective.
