I just called mom (Clssyglassylady) to check on the set up. She said there are alot of great things up for grabs today! Come early and leave with a truck or car load of great stuff. She is chomping at the bit to get in and see what plants/shrubs/trees she will be adding to her yard!

You know the saying what is one more? Really? I still have to clean the litter pans twice a day. Besides I have not added to my crew is almost 6 years. A baby might bring some life back to this house. I will always have a heart and a home big enough for one more! I challenge everyone out there to take a stand for these fur babies. Please dig deep and see if you can make their dreams come true!

j/k on the paperwork .... but have you put your name on him at the shelter in the "just in case" area? You can do that if you didn't know. They can put you down in case the "decision" is made to call you to come and get ...
I will put my name on the list today when I get up there. Am bringing kitty milk and treats for dogs today. The fur babies are going to party today. Everyone is invited!

This little guy has stolen my heart. I said no more fur babies but if "ACE" is not adopted. I may have to make an exception. This poor baby has been through so much. Injured we think by a car, but has recovered nicely. He is ready for a home!

As you can see from my picture cats and dogs can co-exist peacefully. Matter of fact the two in the picture hated each other at first now look, best friends. I feel bad for Sadie was there when she was tested with cats and showed no reaction. She did great at the shelter Sunday while being adopted.

You guys don't have to thank me I am a newbie just trying to do some good. I am priviledged to have met and get to met the real heros at the shelter and humane society who make a difference everyday. I could only aspire to be as great as you guys are!
I will call Myra and Frank and ask them about the doggie dash. I know they walk Baker and Chelsea everyday on the Silver Comet Trail.

Uh.........I actually get credit for deliverying potting soil and paper plates? and Blake just fed the dogs treats the whole time we were there. It was fun and it looked great when I left and I bet it looked even better when you guys left.
Can I come and play next year? I can work on the outside but I can't go in. Those little furry suckers get me everytime! HEHE!

Is there something wrong with this dog, or is it just a stray?
Baker was a stray who has since been adopted but inspired alot of people to try and make a difference for more animals. We use his name now to raise money for Paulding Humane Society.

So who got the go cart and where are the pics of said person driving it???? I tried to convince hubby to go buy it for Blake but as you can tell it didnt go very well
Ok I will give you this much - I did get a picture of the person riding something else. The go-cart has already been delivered and I am sure Mr Hubby has given it a test drive by now. Heck they have a mile of driveway to ride on!

Between the go-cart(I wonderful lady bought it-we all know her but will leave it up to her to tell) and the Raffle we raised $932.00. Plus food and some supplies!
Baker his sister, Chelsea and Myra(Human Angel #2) came out and gave us a big hand. They have done a wonderful job with Baker he looks great and is soooo happy.
To those who donated, our sponsors, Baker and Human Angels my cup feels very full.
I met alot of great people today. Thank you Mom and Dad I could not have done it without you! joflo,mizcue and Green Meadow it was a pleasure. Lisa G thank you for the tub.
I will try to post some pictures.
As this will be an annual event I will try to plan a little smarter and make it bigger and better next year.

I would love to have the dog costume if it were cooler. I don't think I am going to have enough volunteers to go around as it is. We will raise as much money as we can this year and plan a little better next year.
