  1. I absolutly love SPMS #139, Ms. Amy. Although, I am sure my son drives you nuts, we still love you though. Also, Union Elem #21 Ms. Lynn. My daughter really likes her too.

Thank you to all of the bus drivers that carry our children to and from school safely. We appreciate everything you do! :D

  2. :D Yeah! I am so proud of you! It has been almost 8 weeks for me. I haven't had one since March 1st. Hubby and I started taking that Chantix and it was awesome. Even my mom, who smoked for almost 40 years has quit using the Chantix. But it is a hard hill to climb at times. But I am very proud of you for making it this far. Whenever I feel as if I want one or need one, I just ask myself if smoking a cigarette is worth throwing away all of the progress that I have already made. And usually the answer is no!
  3. Don't know what happen about the crash, guess it all started when my house caught fire this morning. Luckily my great neighbor across the street came and help me. Fire and Rescue came check everything it was my furnace. No damage to my house and none of us injuried. THANK YOU TO MY NEIGHBOR, FIRE AND RESCUE AND OTHER FRIENDS WHO CAME TO HELP. If you can't guess I live in Kings Crossing too.

    Can we say COLD night.

Ya know - I heard the fire truck early that morning but didn't know what is was in refernce to. Glad to hear you all are ok. I know that when they pulled the car out (from the crash) and went by my house, it looked horrible. But I agree. People drive like idiots in there. I never thought that living on the main entrance road in a sub. could be so hazardous to your health. I have set on my front porch and yelled at speeders to "SLOW DOWN!!". Ya, I am sure many of you know exactly who I am now! Some people with stop and yell back at me but Geez! I have 2 children that I would like to allow to play in our front yard without the fear of being ran over...in our own front yard!

  4. Any takers? Is any paid member willing to post this for me? I would greatly appreciate it. My hubby is having surgery in 3 weeks and will be out of work for about 4-6 months. We are having this yard sale to help me pay the bills while he is out of work. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!! If you are interested, please PM me and I will give you the info.

    Thanks.

  5. We go meet with hubby's surgeon and ask all of our questions and schedule the back surgery. He is so scared but in the same sentence, he is also relieved that he will be better after all of this done. Question: Does anyone know if they are going to make him quit smoking before they do the surgery? I have heard this from several people but not sure of the validity of it. Please shed some light.
  6. Potato soup, chilli, and chicken and dumplings from Folks.

But what I really look forward to this time of year, is caramel apples. Sam's always has the best caramel apples around.

I will second that! I love to cook in the fall. I always make homemade chicken chili, potato soup and chik-dumplins. YUMMY.

  7. I am not crazy about McD's anyway! I, personally, think their chicken nuggets taste nothing like chicken. And I am a HUGE chicken fan. All I eat is white meat. chicken, pork, fish, etc. Red meat, BARF!! Anyway, my kids have almost grown out of the McD's stage. Thankfully! But I do know what you are talking about..the TUMOR   . I have received those before. YUCK!
