  1. If it is as good as you claim, then why aren't people already specking about it, instead of you having to tell everyone what a great thing it is?

Tastefully Simple was established in the North and is just recently growing in the South.

If you are not interested in the products or what the company has to offer please do not post any comments. Thank you for helping me build my business.

Our seasonal offerings change twice a year, so there’s always something new at a Tastefully Simple party. If you’re interested in hosting a party with great food, friends and fun, or if you’re looking for a unique business opportunity, please contact me for more information.

  3. Here Ill make this one multiple choice:

    A)Yes. Yes. I could.

    B) You sound like chandler from friends.

    C)I don't know let's find out...

    D) I answered the question in the thread and much like the kid who gets his school work done early its time to goof off!

    E) I like pie.

Pick whichever one makes you happy.

Why do they even let people post on p.com if they are posting things like this...this site is beginning to get on my nerves...people just post some one the weirdest things that have nothing to do with the post...she didn't say "I got offered a job...do you think I am a minority"...no she asked for some advice on the position...People need to grow up and stop acting like 14 year old boys that has to put his "two cents" in every conversation. (that is my opinion)

  4. And so when does that stop? In most areas, the first few feet off of the road is right-of-way, so, let's say you woke up one morning and saw someone sticking 10, 12, or 20 subdivision signs in front of your HOME? Not in your private yard...in the right-of-way, but right in front of your home. Would you still think it's ok? Would you respect the person you saw doing that, or would the Kum-ba-yaness wear off and you might not respect someone who's sticking pieces of wood with banners on them 20 feet from your door? Would you think, "Oh dear, they're just earning a living after all!" and bake them some cookies? Invite them in for some scrapbooking?

Some areas actually DO have laws against signs on the roadside. Some don't. It varies by county, city limits, etc. Therefore in an area that does, the person who's putting them up actually is breaking a law. Even if they're not, I would think just from a decency standpoint, someone should have a problem knowing that they're contributing to the litter and eye pollution on the roadside - and yes, I have no respect for people like that.

    Really.

I just think you should give up...you are just an angry person who has to bring everyone down with you...just leave it and if you would like to make your own post to get people to support you that is fine...all this post was for is to see if any one had information on it...it didn't ask for you opinion. Thanks for it and please move on... (I think you could spend your time doing something alittle more productive...) Thanks again for your opinion!

  5. man it is amazing how one simple question can lead into this...thanks for those that just simply left a comment with as much help as they could offer...others...sorry that something so little could lead you to have so much anger towards people...Stop complaining about the stupidest things...

  6. Nothing personal to anyone on here but I have ZERO respect for people who go around sticking these things in the ground.

    1) They're an eyesore. If one gets put up, within a few days there will be dozens of them right in the same spot. They never get taken down by the developers, and stay up there until they rot or the city/county takes them down.

    2) When they get taken down by the city/county, someone replaces them within a day or two. If the city/county takes them down, that means they do not WANT them there - so slapping one right back up is disrespect for the antisign laws that are in place, as well as the workers who spend the day taking them down.

    3) Drivers going 55+ miles per hour down the road don't read them anyway. You can't drive and see 4" tall letters. More people find homes via ads in the Sunday paper than a million of these signs.

    4) The danger. I once actually saw someone swerve TOWARD one of these people putting a sign up and nearly run one over. Yes, some really do hate them THAT much, and you get a half drunk redneck who catches you in the act, and it's a channel 2 news story waiting to happen. Likewise I also saw a cop catch one in the act once and he was writing what looked like a VERY large fine/ticket, too.

There's a lot of ways to make money, spare money, etc. Putting trash on the side of the road that others have to clean up is not in my personal opinion, a respectable one. Personally I'd love to see developers charged a $5,000 fine for each sign that's up, for littering. Since most of them are probably related to elected officials I doubt it'll ever happen, but it's a dream.

How do you have zero respect for the people that put them OUT...they don't do anything but do what they are told so that they can have MONEY to live on...just because we put them out isn't our problem. We need to make money somehow and what an easy way, and a great time (on weekends and nights) to do it! If there is a complaint about it I don't think it needs to be on the people that are doing it for money. It isn't like they do it because it is trashy or just to bug people...they do it for money. If you want to complain about it you need to complain about the County ALLOWING it. If they didn't allow it they would not only be taking the signs but they would be fining people/companies for doing it. Complain to the COMPANIES that have them put out...it is THEIR sign!!! It is crazy to me how people complain and complain to the people that have NOTHING to do with it. I work in Customer Service and all we get all DAY is complaints about the way things are run...I AM SORRY BUT I DON'T MAKE THE RULES...you don't need to complain to the money makers because that is all they are there for (money to have a living)...you need to take it to the people that set the rules or owns the company. THANKS FOR LETTING ME VENT and I hope you realize what I am trying to say..."the people who place the signs out should HAVE your respect because they are the ones working AS MUCH AS THEY CAN (even including nights and weekends) to support a family"-ahhh, I feel much better! :D :p

  7. We are looking to make a little extra money and have heard that you get paid pretty good to put the signs out on the side of the road. Does anyone have any information on how you can get started or any information on where to look to get started. :D PLEASE HELP ME FIND THIS INFORMATION! We really need some extra cash right now! Thanks for all your help, you guys always pull through when someone needs information.

  8. I am looking to get a big dog and was wondering if anyone had a large dog crate they would be interested in selling. We are looking at getting a boxer and would like to have a crate big enough for comfort. I would prefer one that is open all the way around but if necessary I will look into the travel crates. If you or someone you know has one they would like to sell or get rid of please let me know. Also, if you know some where that sells them at a decent price please let me know. I looked at PetsMart and the nicer, larger ones cost around $100. Thanks!!!! Also, if you have any advise on boxers PLEASE share!!!! Thank you!

  9. they will if he wants to open an account (which I'd recommend if he's old enough to earn income)

I work at a Credit Union and I know that if a member comes in to Open a new account we place an 11 day business on ALL checks deposited for the first 30 days. I know that we don't cash checks for anyone that is NOT a member, even if it is a tax refund. Sorry! The best bet would just be a check cashing place and you are looking at about a 1% fee or more. Good Luck!

  10. I am looking to buy a Gun Safe. Know anyone that has one? I have looked at the stores, just want to see if someone has one they would like to sell. Please PM me. Thanks!

  12. Why did you put this in the scanner forum?

Is it really that much of an emergency to get a job? :p

Why do people freak out when something is posted in the wrong forum...you see these comments all the time and I was just wondering why it is a big deal? I know you were probably just joking about it but some people are VERY serious when they complain about posting in the wrong forum... Some people are new to Posts (like myself) and some of us are unaware of how the post works. Just wondering why some people are rude when someone posts in the "wrong" forum...

  14. We are doing alittle St. Patrick's day "meeting" at work and I was wondering if you had any suggestions on what to fix. I want to bring something GREEN and something that isn't too much work to make. Any suggestions?

    * We already have Cookies and Cakes...*

  15. *Hijack*Just to point this out, LibertyLady was NOT personally attacking this poor kiddo that got in this wreck and I will thank you (not you IvyLove) to NOT be nasty to me  . I never said that other states do not have crappy drivers. Good grief people! Get a GRIP! I am so sorry for this teen and all the other ones that are involved in car accidents and I know they can get stretched to their limit sometimes. Wearing a seatbelt can save a life and so can slowing down. That was my point. It wasn't directly pointed at any particular person.(End hijack)

I don't have teens, so I don't know how much I can lend to this, but as a driver that has nearly been wiped out by teen drivers that drive TERRIBLY, I can go from that angle. I cannot believe that more training isn't REQUIRED before they can drive-research other states-they wouldn't dare let a teen on the road with as little as they get here. I think it's fairly obvious that there is a problem (uh, duh?) and that something has to be done. What sort of solutions were you thinking of?

You have the right to state what you feel but I don't think this was the right post to be talking about that. Everyone has their opinion and everyones opinion is different, just remember where you are posting things. This could have been a very serious situation and putting your opinion on this post was unneccesary. Just watch what you talk about in a serious post. But once again, everyone is entitled to their opinion, just be careful where you state your opinion.

  16. For a haircut I tip $5.00. For a cut & color I tip $10.00.

I do about the same...I really love the lady that does my hair so I like to tip her good. I usually do around $10. If I only get a cut I will give between $5-$10 (Usually round it up to the nearest 10...$32, gets $8 tip) Just makes it easy. :)

  17. I have never been there but I have heard good things about it. I don't have kids, but I use to work in daycare so I know what goes on behind the scene. There are a few Sunshine Houses (older ones) that just seem kind of dirty but I have a friend that looked into taking her child to the one off 278. I asked her a lot of question about the teachers and the cleanliness of the place and she really had a lot of nice things to say about the place. Good luck finding the right locations. The Pre-K that you are looking in to...is it the STATE PRE-K? Just remember to go with your first gut feeling...it never fails. Let me know if you have any questions. Just remember that I have never been to that location or ever worked for Sunshine House. I have worked at other large Daycares.

  18. Yeah, I took lessons a few years ago and just recently started playing again. I just need a few lessons to remind me of the basics... :)

I am willing to pay for lessons. Let me know if you know where I can look or if you actually know someone specific. Thanks.
