Thanks everyone. My husband made his own double barrel smoker. He finished it about 3 weeks ago and has smoked something every weekend since. He is determined to smoke the turkey now. He is afraid that it won't come out good and is planning on smoking a ham as well just in case.

My husband has decided to smoke the turkey this year. Anyone ever done this? How did it come out?

You sound like me!! I checked the 10,000-20,000 box but my wedding cost $30,000. I did not want to check the "way too much" one because I felt that it was money well spent! I would do the entire day all over again, no changes. My husband and I have been married for 9 years now and people still talk about how much fun they had at our wedding. It was truly a day we will never forget!!!
