  2. Ms. Dian Wood Pearson, age 71, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016. Dian was born on July 11, 1944 in Riverdale, Georgia to loving parents the late Mr. Dexter William Wood and Mrs. Bessie Mae Wood. Dian was a registered nurse and also had a host of other jobs in her lifetime including selling insurance, real estate, and owned and operated a personnel service. She was of the Baptist faith.   3. Mrs. Betty Jean Holbrook, age 85, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Holbrook was born in Marietta, GA, on April 10, 1930, the daughter of the late Aubrey Johnson and Velma Turner Johnson. She had been a resident of Paulding County for a number years and was a long time member of North Paulding Baptist Church. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Holbrook was associated with Bellsouth for a number of years as an operator. She loved art, paintings making ceramics and sewing.
