  3. Hey it was close. They'll get 'em in the regular season!!!!!

Yes it was a well played defensive game, both teams had a hard time moving the ball. I was very pleased with the way our players played, they hustled hard every play and were flying to the ball on defense. The Patriots are back to Patriot football and on their way back into contention. Thanks for everyone's support of our players it does not go unnoticed.. I was impressed with the all the fans friends and family who made the trip up hwy 278 and came out. come on out in two weeks as we play North Paulding at THE PAULDING COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL. It will be fun!

  4. I am going to be honest with you all, I. Didn't feel like we had a very good chance last night, being as young as we are. That is the only short coming that I have said all year that the Raiders, and saying that is scary.. to be this good and this young! Wow at the next few years.. But looking at the present! Its hard sometimes to show my support for the Raiders ONLY because I coach at another High school in the county, I heart is and forever will be at East. I have said it before I may wear other colors right moment but ibleedblack&silver... I am so stinking proud of these kids exp the ones I coached at EPMS the past few seasons, it really has a big piece in my heart. I played blead cryed laughed tore my knees to hell and back for East Paulding football along with many others in the years of the 0-30 streak.. it is so amazing how far the program has come. After watching the highlight video I had tears streaming down my face.... call me what you want those who know me know that I am an emotional person and I LOVE ME SOME EAST PAULDING RAIDER FOOTBALL!! Keep it up boys let's get Paulding County a STATE TITLE! Now is as good a time as any!

  5. Not hard to do when you're up against Osborne. :ninja:

Sorry...I know, be optimistic. I'm an OHS alumni, though, so I can't help pick on them.

Give credit where credit is due. With the season PC had they could of just packed it in and quit, but if you look at the past few games they have dramaticaly inproved from the start of the season. That defence who was blasted for the better part of the season "hunkerd" down and played some pretty darn good defence the past several weeks and ended their season on a high note. Reguardless of who you play a win is a win don't take that away from the kids who sweat and bleed for this game, and us coaches who spend countless hours away from our family and friends. It just bugs me to no end when people get on here (not you per say) and blast the teams who are not winning., that is not fair to the kids at all. So please keep it respectful. Congrats to all the Paulding County teams for a fun football season, good luck to the Raiders and Hornets as they make their way into the playoff's.

  6. wow its never a dull moment on here. People fussing about things that they really have no clue about. High n sight is 20/20 people you can always say shoulda/coulda/woulda but unless you are on the sidelines you turly have no real basis to go on, other than what you see. I can assure you all the decision to have the players not to shake hands was probally for the best. And notice I said decision.. thus not being the players choice. With that being said it was a very emotional game for both teams, tempers were on the rise, remember these are kids no matter how big they look, their rational is not that of an adult, and shaking hands with both teams "fired" up would not of been smart. All it takes is fuel to a flame and it would of been on like donkey kong and players from 2 very good teams would be suspended for 2 weeks, so as bad as it may look from the outside looking in I applaud both coaching staff's for removing their teams from a what could of been ugly situation. I have coached against both teams this season and I can say both teams players and coaches are men of good judgement and will have very good seasons in the end. North 6-3 before play in East 8-1 before play in.

  7. Your VOTE is your voice. The current School Board will not listen to the parents, so we need to vote out ALL incumbents running for the school board. From the ridiculous calendar to raising of YOUR taxes, firing 1st year teachers to make up for their gross mismanagement of the budget and so forth. I've had enough.

Many school teachers are sick of the current administration. The Board needs to be booted out!

    Boot 'em out!

And now there are no middle school sports..... but we have shiny new buidings.

  8. Welcome, we're glad your here!

You have been fortunate enough to get some real friendly people welcoming you, but there are some real jerks on here also. Do what everyone else seems to do though, ignore them and move on. Good luck on your furniture search. ;)

  9. I just wanted to say how proud I am of the boys, I could not think of any better way to spend my first year coaching than here at East and winning the 1st ever conference champonship! it was a lil sorril winning the first becasue I played in the first champonship East played back in "95" falling short that year. The Guys on the coaching staff are amazing, for Coach Felix and Coach Wamsley whom have been there for the better half of 10 years Congrats! To the coaching staff and all the Players it has been an HONOR serving with you all this year. 7th grade boys be ready to work hard this spring!! Austin you had a heck of a year you guys keep your heads up high, and continue to work hard see ya next september! Thank you for all the kind words after the game and throught the season.

"Ball till you fall, we put one on the wall."

  11. *blush'n* Thank ya!

Can ya tell Football is my favorite sport? :D

EPMS won... I dont know the score for sure...but I heard it was 28-6.

    It was actually 27-6

    Good game from both teams!

Should be a heck of a game next saturday.

Did the ref really throw a flag on the fans for booing? wow that's a first in my book and I have been around the game for 20 years.

  12. Sorry guys I had to shut down the cite could not afford it alone!! BUT! you can still join the Raider Nation at www.myspace.com/eastpauldingfootball08

made this becasue it is free and it does not narrow it down for just EPMS!! its for the entire nation baby!

  13. Dont get me wrong Harrison made the plays to win.. It has been said all week that the team whom made fewer mistakes would win… and that is exactaly what happened. Neither team played to their ability, I dont know if it was all the hype or what, but all the T.V time outs seem to take the wind out the sails.. of both team’s, as well as the croud. I for one will never go to another telivised high school football game, unless its at the dome! It takes too much away from the game at this level, the boys are used to go go go all the time, not go go wait wait go go! This works for both sides, I am not making excuses for East they were out played by Mr. Goodhigh tonight(being that he made the big plays) thats what good players do. I hope he gets well soon. Someone much wiser than me once said "that the best team does not always win", I think in the long run that this loss will be a good thing for the boys in a sence that they refocus. It would be so nice to have a “rematch” this year down the road in the playoffs!! Congrats Hoyas! East! it does not get any easier this week, so work hard and be ready for a homecoming victory! cowbellman we played together, we always took a knee when an opposing player seemed to be seriously injured, you may not have done it out of respect but I am willing to bet you the other 10 men on the field did.

Sorry for the double post but i did not proffread myself, and wanted to be a lil more clear on a few things.

Come join the Raider Nation on myspace at..

That is a very arrogant statement coming from someone who has admitted to being a coach at EPMS.

I am very surprised that a coach would make a statement like that. How stupid is that????

Arrogant yes... Stupid? your funny! I do not think that it is stupid to have confidence in the players. If you feel that it is I am sorry that you feel that way, but hey we are all intilted to our own opinion, even if its one such as your's as calling my support for the kids playing football both arrogant and stupid, so be it.

I have no problem being called arrogant.
