Clark Funeral Home Posted April 5, 2007 Report Share Posted April 5, 2007 Cochran Clara Belle Bolden Cochran, 85, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2007. She was born in Carroll County, GA, on June 21, 1921, to the late Johnny Lee & Jewel L. Bolden. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Vernell Reece, Ruth Jordan, and Dorothy Cox. Mrs. Cochran was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, J. T. Cochran, Dallas; son, Joseph Theodore Cochran (Joan), Centre, AL; daughters, Jackie Jones (Dan), Kennesaw, and Swannie Carter (Robert), Douglasville; sisters, Lillian Crew, Leona, TX, Rosalie Reeves (Tommy), Bremen, Maddlain Smith, Dallas, and Katie Benson, Dallas; grandchildren, Cathy Funk, Ritchie Carter, Tobey Cochran, Kathy Berry, and Stacey Durden; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2007, at 2:00 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home, with Dr. Johnny Turner and Reverend G. R. Graves officiating. Interment will follow in Dallas Memory Gardens. Tobey Cochran, Ritchie Carter, Hoover Mabry, Floyd Benson, Tommy Reeves, and Roger Funk will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Chase, Tyler and Jeremy. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 6, 2007, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
