Marr, Sr.

Danny Joe Marr, Sr., of Hiram, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2007. He was born in on February 21, 1951, in Ardmore, OK. Mr. Marr was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a heavy equipment operator, an avid motorcycle rider, and a member of the Southern Cruisers/Lost Mountain Chapter #393.

Survivors include his wife, Anna “Mimi†Marr, Hiram, GA; mother,

Alice Williamson, Marietta, GA; father, Andrew Marr, Ardmore, OK; son, Danny Joe & Deanna Marr, Jr., Powder Springs, GA; daughters, Christy & Sean Terry, Alameda, CA and Jennifer Marr, Jasper, GA; step-daughters, Courtney & Aaron Reimann, Dallas, GA and Lori Tarver, Hiram, GA; brother, Gary & Cheryl Marr, Marietta, GA; sisters, Kay & Wayne Skeeto, Dothan, AL, Midge & Furman Avin, Sumter, SC, and Debbie & Wayne Hatcher, Ballground, GA; six grand-children; and numerous nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2007, at 3:00pm, from West Ridge Church with Pastor Matt Willmington officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
