Winford Lamar Manning, age 75, of Atlanta, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2007. He was born on February 10, 1932 in Decatur, GA to the late Starling and Grace Manning. He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Winford L. Manning Jr. and his wife Wanda of Hiram, GA; his daughters and son-in-law, Becky Haney of Woodstock, GA, Vickie E. Manning of Dallas, GA and Jean and Frank Sharkey of Kempner, TX; his former wife, Ruth G. Manning of Dallas, GA; his brother, Hugh Manning of Dahlonega, GA; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service

will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, Georgia with Rev. James Cook officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 23, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
