She was born on January 21, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio. She was a medical transcriptionist. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Jon Martin of Dallas, GA; her mother, Carletta Ellis of Rockmart, GA; her father, Howard Ellis Sr. and his wife Barbara of Hiram, GA; her brother, Howard Ellis Jr. of Villa Rica,GA; her sisters and brother-in-law, Ann and William Palmer of Dallas, GA, and Jo R. Ellis of Rockmart, GA; her grandchildren, James Hammitt, Julia Hammitt, Johnathon Hammitt and Jacob Martin of Dallas, GA; her step-grandmother, Estelle Rush of Hiram, GA. No services are scheduled.
