Ralph Vernon York, age 75, of Carrollton, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2007. He was born on August 25, 1931 in Rockmart, GA to the late Glen & Louella York. He was a United States Air Force veteran and served during the Korean War. He was a retired carpenter for the construction industry.

Surviving are his sons and daughters-in-laws, Keith and Chris York of Pensacola, FL and Jeff and Janet York of Powder Springs, GA; his daughter, Debra York of Carrollton, GA; his sister, Sara Watts of Douglasville, GA; his grandchildren, Shaina, Alicia, Haley and Matthew; 2 great grand-children, numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville, GA with Kenneth Priest officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 22, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
