Woodrow Ernest “Big Woody” Roberts Jr. 66, of Dallas, GA passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2007. He was born on May 21, 1940 to the late Woodrow Ernest Sr. and Naomi Roberts. He was a United States Coast Guard veteran with 20 years of service. After leaving the military he began a second career with Atlantic Steel retiring after 20 years. He was preceded in death by his son, Woodrow E. Roberts III.

Surviving are his wife, Cynthia Roberts of Dallas, Georgia; his daughters, Selena K Roberts of Hiram, Georgia, Marsha and Scott Carroll of Dallas, Georgia and Maile and Randy Fulcher of Dallas, Georgia; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, Georgia. The interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 8, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
