Mrs. Ruth Hendrick Richards, age 84, of Anniston, AL, formerly of Perry, GA passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2006. She was born on December 8, 1921 in Hiram, GA to the late Hershel and Lou Hendrick. She was a retired manager of the Utilities Department for the City of Perry and was a member of Perry Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Richards and her children, David Richards and Janet Carol Richards.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn & Rick Searle of Anniston, AL; sisters, Evelyn Shipp of Hiram, GA, Vermel Thomas of Dallas, GA, Eva Bee Newman and her husband, Gene of Hiram, GA and Bobbie Lee of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Jonathan Searle, Jacob Searle and Sara Kathryn Searle; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Rev. Parker Agnew officiating. The interment will follow in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hiram. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Perry Presbyterian Church, Second & Sunset Streets, Perry, GA 31069 or Faith Presbyterian Church, 4100 Ronnaki Rd., Anniston, AL 36207.
