Gravett

Mr. Virgile James Gravett, age 81, of Dallas, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2006. He was born on October 28, 1924 in Fort Payne, Alabama to the late Duff and Ada Gravett. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Gravett.

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Sharon Gravett of Dallas; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Joe Lollis of Dallas and Carolyn and Ritchie Moody of Hiram; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 12:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Rev. David Wiley officiating. The interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram is in charge of arrangements.
