Senior Airman Trey Brown, age 23, of Round Rock, Texas, formerly of Hiram, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2006. He was born on February 26, 1983 in Marietta. He was an Air Force veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Hiram. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Howard Brown. Trey was married to Lauren Michelle Brown who also passed away on Monday, October 9.

Surviving are his parents, Don and Lisa Nix Brown of Hiram; a sister, Brittany Brown of Hiram; maternal grandparents, Larry and Carol Nix of Dallas; paternal grandmother, Bette Evett Brown of Dallas; his uncle, Brad Nix of Dallas; his aunt, Vikki Garmon of Dallas.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Dr. Ken Ray and Reverend Tony Samples officiating. The interment will follow in Dallas Memory Gardens with full military honors. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideon’s International, P.O. Box 503, Dallas, GA 30132 or the Family Advocacy at Fort Hood, address to be available at the funeral home on Friday. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram is in charge of arrangements.
