Oglesby

Mr. Sid Oglesby, age 76, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2006. He was born on January 20, 1930 in Dewey Rose, GA to the late Ralph and Robbie Oglesby. He was a retired hospital administrator and a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Oglesby was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Martha M. Oglesby; sons, Greg Oglesby of Manchester, GA and John Oglesby and his wife, Janet of Douglasville, GA; daughters, Mary Lynn Beckley and her husband, Clyde of Lilburn, GA and Laura Gray and her husband, Guy of Randolph, New Jersey; 7 grandchildren; 2 nieces and a nephew.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 9, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Dr. Tim Walker and Reverend Marvin Enquist officiating. The interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
