Lindsey

Mrs. Marion Lee Lindsey, age 90, of Rockmart, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2006. She was born on June 17, 1916 in Cobb Co. to the late Luther and Annie Ellison. She was a member of White Oak Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Lindsey was preceded in death by her husband, Paul B. Lindsey and her children, Omalee Lindsey, James L. Lindsey and Joseph Franklin Lindsey.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Paul B. Lindsey Jr. of Lilburn, GA, Kerry and Patsy Lindsey of Rockmart and Raymond and Sue Lindsey of Rockmart; daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and Jim Puckett of Dallas, Merry and Jack Jones of Rockmart and Joyce and Larry Cline of Charlotte, N.C.; a special niece, Ann Dodd of Acworth; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Williams and Rev. Johnny Simpson officiating. The interment will follow in the White Oak Springs Baptist church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
