Mr. David Loy Davis, age 66, of Bremen, GA, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2006. He was born on March 28, 1940 in Taylorsville, GA to the late Raymond and Margaret Davis. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Freedom Missionary Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Martha Mae Davis; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Angela Davis of Carrollton; daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Clarence Allen of Kennesaw, Teresa and Alan Baxter of Temple and Lisa and Charles Sheets of Bremen; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Mary Davis of Dallas, Donnie and Darlene Davis of Buchanan and Jerry Davis of Carrollton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lora Lee and Randolph Upton of Rockmart, Julene and John Jones of Dallas and April and Richard Sewell of Dallas; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 1, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Pastor Shae Tallent and Brother Earl Partain officiating. The interment will follow in White Oak Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA is in charge of arrangements.
