Mr. Henry “Hank” Cook Jr., age 83, of Salem, S.C., formerly of Dallas, GA, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2006. He was born on February 6, 1923 in Pittston, PA to the late Henry and Margaret Cook. He was a retired electrician. Mr. Cook was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Emily Evans Cook; sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Cindy Cook of O’ Fallon, Missouri and Tom and Suzy Cook of Robert, Louisiana; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Donald J. Cook of Seneca, S.C.; a sister, Shirley Chester of Goldsboro, PA; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mr. Cook will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. from the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA is in charge of arrangements.
