Mrs. Vada Lee Holt, age 94, of Temple, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2006. She was born on December 29, 1911 in Atlanta to the late Luther and Georgia Lee. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church. Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil O. Holt.

Surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, George and Joann Lee of Marietta; sisters, Elizabeth Vaughn of Waleska, GA an Birdie Mitchell of Atlanta.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 11, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Don Rackley and Rev. Hoyt Lewis officiating. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram is in charge of arrangements.
